Review for Sunkissed Acres Rescue And Retirement Inc, Summerville, GA, USA
Sunkissed Acres and Ms. Yonts are wonderful! When I first met Ms. Yonts and said I wanted to visit, she said "come on up." There weren't any sketchy appointments that needed to be made only at certain times on certain days, etc. She only said, "let me know when you're close by so I can be home to meet you." Everything was transparent for this organization. She was more than happy to show me her records when I had mentioned something about donating to legitimate organizations. She introduced me to all of the animals (and people!) at the rescue, and each animal had a story: a retired Grand Prix jumper, a retired racehorse turned slaughter horse turned Olympic-level Eventer, etc. The youngest horse there at the time was twenty-five and looked amazing. The farm is immaculate, and the horses are happy and safe. That was a few years ago. I now try to make regular trips up to visit and lend a helping hand when I can. I would have no qualms donating to nor volunteering for this organization.
Review for Borrowed Freedom Equine Assisted Therapies and Activities Inc, Vestal, NY, USA
Borrowed Freedom Equine Assisted Therapies and Activities isn't just a "therapy" program; it changes lives. They help so many in their community, and all of their animals have are especially in tune with the riders and family members of the program. I have seen evidence of those who "could not speak," say a word, and those persons with challenges, overcome them. They are an honest and legitimate organization, and I am impressed with how well managed they are.
