Review for MusicLink Foundation, Arlington, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is my third year as a MusicLink teacher and second as local coordinator. MusicLink and some music publishers, stores, suppliers and organizations help with the costs for qualifying students and teachers teach for half or less of their normal tuition.

This year a student needed a pedal box. On contacting a company this spring that sells pedal boxes and telling them about the MusicLink Foundation, they gave me a discount coupon, I paid $33.95, and the MusicLink Foundation paid the other $100.00. And now a young student is very excited about the sustained sound using the "pedals".

Additionally, a piano technician, on becoming aware of MusicLink through our Washington State Music Teachers Association, has been willing to tune the family piano .. a wonderful gift. My students have participated in the WSMTA adjudications, and the State organization waives the state portion of MusicLink student fees. Our local Music Teachers Association chapter also waives fees for MusicLink students particpating in our locally held State Musicianship Examinations.

Many thanks to MusicLink for pioneering these opportunities and for the publishers, businesses, teachers and technicians who help these interested students develop their musicality...Together we can!
