I went to a kitten shower in May and was overwhelmed with the urge to take home all of the kitties! There were so many loving, social cats there that I know any and all of them would've been a great addition to my home. My sister and I did end up adopting one though. A little grey and white ball of fluff who has grown rapidly in the last three and a half months into one of the most loving and entertaining babies. The organization was so kind and helpful, excited and supportive, as we were adopting him. They go out of their way to provide a clean and loving environment for their feline friends, and make sure that they're kept healthy, socialized, and active in preparation for finding their forever home. I lost my cat of 15 years a couple of years ago and finding my kitten has filled a little bit of the hole left from that loss. He's the biggest character. At only 5 months, he loves to play fetch with water bottle caps, balled up pieces of paper, and a stuffed lamb that he stole from my niece. He will curl up next to me to sleep during a storm, stretch out across half of my bed at night while we sleep, curl up on my chest while watching TV. He's always purring, so I hope that means that he's as happy here as we're happy to have him. Thanks to the HSAPL, I found my forever cat.
