As a firm believer in the transformational power of mission-driven stories, I was innately drawn to Media Impact. The organization's model leverages creative media to impart stakeholders with the agency to change their lives and communities. It does this organically, at the grassroots level, tapping into local knowledge to ensure that the messages delivered cohere with the cultural and societal norms of the organization's target audiences.
The dedicated and nimble team implementing this model drive Media Impact to take on new projects and challenges, which they manage to deliver on, in spite of funding pressures.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Expand its budget. Additional funding in Media Impact's resourceful hands would help promote the organization's mission, increase production values, and place additional personnel in the field, where they would be even better positioned to process the complexities of behavioral change work at a grassroots level.
