Review for Patty's Parrot Palace, DeLand, FL, USA
I first came to Patty's Parrot Palace in the summer of 2012 after stumbling into some trouble. I needed community service hours and birds sounded like an interesting experience. Little did I know, I had found a place I would continue to return to long after my required hours had been fulfilled. The dedication of Trish and Tony to helping improve the lives of their flock is truly admirable. Of course, their flock reaches well beyond the many parrots that have been saved from horrid conditions and into the lives of many young adults. They're an example that you truly can improve the world around you if you are willing to work hard enough.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
...change the location. The number of birds in need is well beyond the capacity of Trish and Tony's home. They have been searching for land and funding to establish a large flight cage for the birds. This would allow them to greatly increase their impact in reducing the number of birds lacking proper care. Please help if you can!
