This is an awesome exotic bird rescue and adoption place! I conduct my own yearly fundraiser for it on Facebook and attend open houses to see the new improvements to it. I know that my donations (and those of my associates) are being spent wisely and truly for the best care of the birds. Wonderful place!
Patty’s Parrot Palace is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warmth of the staff and volunteers who are clearly passionate about what they do. The birds here are exceptionally well taken care of — it’s obvious that their well-being is the top priority. Each parrot is vibrant, active, and visibly happy, with spacious, clean enclosures and plenty of enrichment to keep them engaged. The staff not only provide a welcoming atmosphere but are also incredibly knowledgeable, answering every question I had with patience and enthusiasm. It’s rare to find a place where the care for animals is this genuine and heartfelt. I highly recommend visiting Patty’s Parrot Palace if you want to experience true dedication to these amazing creatures
This remarkable organization is so inspiring!!
The love & care that they show to their sponsors, staff / volunteers & most importantly - THEIR FLOCK OF BIRDS - is unlike anything else!!
Patty’s enthusiasm & passion serve as a true testament of her doing exactly what she was meant to do in this life. Thank you so much for enriching the lives of everyone around you!!

Patricia & all the staff at the palace are EXCELLENT; she truly goes above & beyond to help any animal in need.
I have been volunteering at Pattys parrot palace for close to three years now. I look forward to my days there and seeing all the animals. There is such a great need for a rescue of this kind and Trish puts her whole heart and soul into these birds. Thankfully there are people like Trish and wonderful people who give their time and support to keep this sanctuary running smoothly.

I found out about PPP when I was looking for a place to board my parrot. Everyone was knowledgeable and patient with me and made me feel very comfortable leaving my baby Greenbean with them. I have since started volunteering with them and look forward to my time there. Patty truly cares about every bird there and it shows by the way the birds respond to her. She is a truly amazing person that would stop at nothing to give all the parrots their best lives.
Our Umbrella Cockatoo, Mia, is almost 29. She has lived at Patty's Parrot Palace, with Trish, for four years now. She blossomed from a pet in a cage, to a bird who can actually enjoy her life. We actually saw her fly for the first time! We made the right choice for Mia to live at the "palace" with her other feathered friends. Please consider making a financial donation to this most worth non-profit! Linda
Patti’s parrot palace is just that it’s a palace for birds. They are so well taken care of from nutrition to music to stimulation. It is a place like no other To walk in and see all The different cages for the different birds is amazing. I have personally witnessed Patti advocating for a bird that was left in a garage unattended dark all of the time. She will not stop until the situation is taken care of. I’m talking about a bird named Bubba. It’s not just about the birds it’s about the people and the volunteers who Interact with the birds. The teens that volunteer there are not just volunteers. It’s a family. The Self-confidence and feeling of belonging are helping so many of the teens volunteering. It is such a positive and happy place! It is about involvement, education, and acceptance. she is totally a bird whisperer. She has dedicated her time and energy to helping these birds. Have a wonderful life. It is a place like no other I have ever seen. This is why I think they are the best nonprofit

This is by far the most animal friendly bird sanctuary I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. The birds are so well cared for and loved. The time and consideration taken with each bird is heartwarming. It amazes me how she knows each birds name and likes. She is not only on top of the birds nutrition she also has a keen sense of their health and nothing goes unchecked. It is like a helicopter mom to each and every bird. I have a a cockatoo that lives at Patty’s Parrot Place and she is the happiest I have ever seen! I love visiting my bird but also seeing all the amazing happy birds. If you want to donate to an amazing nonprofit, this is the one!!
I first met Trish at Patty's Parrot Palace when due to health conditions it was growing harder to take care of my two conures and i also had a complaint from my neighbor on how loud they were.So my friend Bonnie brought me to the Palace to meet Trish.I was nervous and cryed all the way there kept looking at my birds knowing i was saying goodbye. But when we arrived Trish was so kind and her warm smile put me at ease I saw all the love and care from her,her husband, and her staff that went into taking care of all the animals at the Palace. She gave me a tour and all my doubts dissapeared. Meeting her for the first time was nice, she was kind and had a way with animals that was natural.I saw the heaters and water misters and all the beautiful large sized avaries for her birds and i was impressed those things donot come cheap. She also provides the best bird food with addiing nuts fruits, and veggies.I left there relieved that they would be cared for and never have to trim their wings again, now they fly free in a aviary with their friends instead of being imprisoned by a cage.i highly reccomend Patty's Parrot Palace.
If you are looking for a great place to volunteer then Patty's Parrot Palace is the perfect place to look! If you're looking to learn or want to have a rewarding experience then you can't go wrong here!

If you are looking for a volunteer oppertunity, this is an amazing choice! The work itself is rewarding and the animals are something else! You're not working around animals that glance at you and that's it...nope, at Pattys Parrot Palace, the critters give you thier full and undivided attention as well as talk to you, which makes it even more rewarding! I have been helping here for about 3 weeks now and I'm truly enjoying it! A missed opprrtunity if you look else where.
Patty's Parrot Palace is a tropical paradise for all exotic birds. Most are rescues and need immediate attention. Trish and her husband Tony maintain a clean, safe environment for all the birds.
Her volunteers are dedicated to helping wherever is needed. Trish has helped many owners of birds by boarding and taking excellent care of them.
Theses exotic creatures are very smart and love your attention. Many will eat almonds out of your hands.
This nonprofit is worth giving a look at and would love your donations or time!
I have volunteered here at Patty’s Parrot Palace for over a year now, and they are amazing. They help hundreds of birds, giving them a caring home.
At Patty’s Parrot Palace they really do care about the birds, making sure to interact with them all individually, keep toys around the birds, keep their cages cleaned and provide fresh food and water.
I started volunteering here for the hours counting towards a scholarship, now I’m volunteering here because I love it here, and I have far surpassed the hours I initially came here for.
They don’t just have birds either, they also have goats, chickens, pigs and turkeys. They care for these animals as well as the birds, however the birds are the primary focus of this organization.
TLDR: This is a great non-profit organization, which is great at what they do, and really care and provide for the birds.
I've been volunteering here 3 days a week for around 2 months and I can tell that the owner always have the birds' best interests as their top priority. For the new birds, she lets them get accostomed to being with others first in a single cage before putting them in one of the big enclosures. And if the bird prefers the cage, she notices and puts them back where they were. It's hard work, but I enjoy the environment the owner has curated and I feel satisfied that I'm doing my part to help the birds
I absolutely love the palace! I have given a home to 3 of their adoptable parrots and I visit regularly to help out. Everyone is so great and the animals are cared for way above average.

I inherited a parrot and while researching ways to give him the best life I could I started reading about all the parrots that are neglected, abused and in a lot of cases just have to be re homed due to lack of education (live too long, get louder or more destructive than anticipated or they bite) and it broke my heart as it does with any animal. So I knew if I ever expanded my flock it would be through adoption/rescue only. I was so surprised to find a sanctuary in MY HOME TOWN. Like what?! I haven’t decided to expand my own flock yet but I started to feel called to help in some way and reached out to volunteer. I was nervous because, I won’t lie, “rescues” just doesn’t bring images of good things or warm fuzzy feelings. PPP is NOT those other places! They are very clean, have aviaries that provide for more than “bare minimum” for survival. The birds are free flighted in flocks of their own kind. They have great diets and lots of opportunities for enrichment. Trish and Tony are so great. I don’t think they know strangers, lol. When I showed up the first time it was the same as if I had been there a dozen times. To see them know each bird and take time with them all; well this place does give me the warm and fuzzies. It is a home. Even though I clean up a lot of bird poop and risk feeding the big guys my fingers as snacks I am so excited to go back each week! If I could be there every day I would. If you can volunteer or you choose to donate this is the place to do it your time and your funds will all be appreciated and used very responsibly.
I’ve been a volunteer here for 8 months now, and seeing the dedication that gets put into caring for the birds at Patty’s Parrot Palace is amazing!
Volunteering here is truly the best experience, as there is so much joy and love poured into each individual animal.
Trish devotes countless hours of her to time for the care of the birds, she is truly one of the most selfless people I know.
It’s been 3 1/2 yrs since I had to rehome my beautiful girl Cameron due to health reasons. Not a day goes by that I don’t give thanks that Cameron is living and enjoying her life at Patty’s Parrot Palace. Here she is with other
African Greys where they are given the best of care, healthy diet, clean environment and roomy aviaries to fly with ease. I’m filled with gratitude for Trish, Tony and all those who make Patty’s Parrot Palace such a special place. ❤️
Parrots and people are lucky to be at patty’s and experience genuine love and care.

Pattys has continued to be one of the best things in my life. I have been greatly influenced in a positive way by my work with the rescue and by the life-long relationships I have created. The sanctuary is not only a safe haven for deserted, homeless or needy birds, but is also a place for people to have a positive experience. I am extremely proud of my birdy mama.
I have been associated with Patty's Parrot Palace for over three years on a daily basis.
Trish and Tony oversee the care of a large number of birds and make sure that they are well cared and protected.
The Palace birds get all of the essentials plus many extras. The birds are happy and thriving.
Volunteers are screened and well-trained.
The Place is a loving and healthy environment for the birds, the volunteers, and visitors.
I have never seen a more devoted group of people dedicated to improving and saving the lives of so many animals. Everyone of these birds has a story and Patty is making sure each one of them gets to tell it.

I was fortunate to visit Patty’s Parrot Palace for there grand opening. I was beyond amazed at the actual work and dedication that was given to these birds. The world needs more people like Trish and Tony that paid attention to a great need to help protect and save these mistreated and abused animals. I will continue to donate and support them as long as it takes. God bless them and the amazing volunteers that run this sanctuary.
My wife has been volunteering for Patty's Parrot Palace for some time now. We donate to the Palace because we see where the money goes and how well the animals are treated and loved.
I have been volunteering at the Palace for about 5 years. It is also one of the few places that I donate to.
The animals are well taken care of and loved. It is a place where you can go and feel happy no matter what is going on in your life. The birds are always singing or dancing, the goats are friendly and so are the pigs.
Just go to goat yoga one time and you will see for yourself it is one of the "happiest places" in DeLand.
My husband and I were amazed at the love and hard work coming from inside Patty's Parrot Place. Trish, her husband Tony and all the amazing volunteer workers are doing such a great job at keeping these displaced animals comfortable and happy. We were honored to have the pleasure of touring the farm and personally adopting a beautiful Miligold named Stella. Not only did we grow our family, we also made some great friends in the process. Keep up the great work!
Trisha and Tony are wonderful with my parrot Astra. Me and my bird are so lucky we found them! Thank you for all the love and care PPP gives to all the birds and other animals staying with them
What a truly wonderful place Trish, her husband Tony, and all the people who volunteer there are simply amazing. The love and care that is shown to these feathered creatures is beyond awe-inspiring. Exotic birds who no longer have a home find this incredible sanctuary to live well. Those birds that are well socialized and in good health are adopted to deserving households. I should know, I've adopted 2 macaws and can't imagine life without them. If ever there was a worthwhile cause for the animal kingdom, this sanctuary is at the top of the list.

Adopted a Blue and Gold Macaw after it was relinquished to Trish. After “Popeye” was rehabilitated by Trish and her staff we adopted Popeye. I now volunteer there when I can. The numerous birds she has under her care or extremely well cared for. Clean cages, large aviaries and proper nutrition are all provided in a loving and nurturing atmosphere. It is truly an amazing place and there are not enough accolades that can adequately describe how truly wonderful this place is
This sanctuary is beyond the best in care and love to these feathered creatures. As you approach the property you can hear the singing, whistling and calls from the more than 100 birds living here in harmonious surroundings. The volunteers are amazing and make no doubt about it, this is a lot of work!
I had been looking for a Congo African Grey to adopt for about 6 years. I found Patty's Parrot Palace and filled out an application. I was contacted rather quickly and asked to come to visit and see which bird would be the best fit for us. We visited their facility and was amazed by not only the number of birds but all the varieties of Parrots.
I had a CAG years ago and knew I wanted another one. We met "Mikey" and it was a love at first sight. He was a little shy and needed some time to get better acquainted so we took our time. I hated to leave it was such a positive experience with Trish and Donna who both were very good to explain the process of adoption and what to expect. In a week or two we had a home visit so Trish and Donna could see where we planned to have a cage for Mikey as well as looking for any potential hazards. Once they were convinced that we would be good parrot parents, we got Mikey! We keep in touch and let them know how things are going as well as any new words and interactions with us. Mikey is well adjusted and spoiled rotten. I am so happy that I found out about Patty's Parrot Palace and if we decide to adopt another parrot, you can bet we will be making another trip to the Palace. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an addition to their family to go see Trish and Donna. We loved our experience and can't thank them enough.

Last year my in-laws became ill and both passed away. They had a bird named Angel and she had not been taken care of as much as she should’ve been. Patty Parate Palace came in took her loved her rehabilitated her and she is living the life that she deserves. So thank you again to Patty Parate Palace for saving our Bird angel.
I grew up with my family running a bird sanctuary in Texas, so this made me feel at home. Knowing other places, I can honestly say the Patty’s parrot palace has some of the most spoiled birds ever in a sanctuary. The birds are watched over and cared for people that genuinely care about them. The health and happiness of the birds are the number 1 priority and the facility is amazing. Just being there relaxes me. The goats and other animals on the property are all so nice.
I challenge you to find another animal sanctuary as laser focused on every aspect of its inhabitants well-being than Patty's. Want proof? - watch the aura of happiness each one exudes when they see Patty.

Every time I visit I’m overcome by joy knowing these lovely creatures have guaranteed, maximum quality of life, with others of their kind, for the remainder of their days. I find myself even more beholden to continue helping Patty, in any way possible, every time I head back home to Illinois.
My parrot repeat has been with Trish for a little bit over a year. I am so happy for her. I had her at home for 27 years and started feeling bad for her, not being around her own kind. A little over a year ago, I brought her up to patti‘s parrot palace and I have never regretted it. I certainly miss repeat but I can visit just about anytime I want to. Repeat is happy, she’s making new friends and believes now that she’s a bird. Imagine that! Trish has weaned her off the sunflower seeds I had her on and she’s now on pellets and, remarkably, happy to eat them. The facility is large, airy and well-kept. Cages are kept very clean. Repeat eats better at Tricias than I do at home… More fresh fruit and veggies. After hurricane season, she will go out of the house and into an aviary with other greys. We are a happy family.
I started working as a volunteer about a year and a half ago. There’s a great, outdoorsy Florida atmosphere for visitors, parrots and farm animals alike. Run by people that really care about the satisfaction of their ‘residents,’ and keep their facilities as clean and well supplied as possible with daily hard work and care. There's also always a 'project' underway to expand or improve facilities & aviaries. You can tell that the owners have a passion for taking care of animals and will go to the end of the Earth to ensure they’re all happy.
I have been volunteering with Patty’s Parrot Palace for a few months now and I’m always excited to get up and head over there. They maintain a comfortable, healthy environment for the parrots and provide opportunities for natural behavior, socialization and enrichment. The caretakers are extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to the parrots’ needs.
Patty’s Parrot Place is truly a blessing! Due to health reasons, I had to rehome my African Grey. PPP has provided a clean, happy and healthy atmosphere where she can live with others of her kind. Patricia, Tony and all the volunteers give these birds the attention and love each one deserves. I look forward to each visit and can walk away with a smile knowing she’s s receiving the best of care. ❤️

Having COPD, I had to re-home my African Grey. She is 22 years old and I adopted her when she was a very young chick.
After much searching for the right environment, I was told about Patty’s Parrot Palace. I did not want her to go to a home and take a chance that new owner would soon pass her off to someone else... Upon my first visit to PPP, I knew this was the only place I want her to be. What a wonderful environment!!
Patty’s Parrot Palace is everything you could hope for- it is extremely clean, spacious, equipped with everything the birds need and filled with love. Trish and Tony are hands on with the birds, taking time to sing, dance and play with the birds daily. They are fed a very tasty, nutritious diet and thrive by the love and care they are given.
As difficult as it has been without my bird at home, I can visit her on a regular basis and see how well she is being taken care of. Many thanks to Trish, Tony and the volunteers who provide this second chance for these very special birds.
I have been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace for about 3 years. Not only are the birds well cared for and healthy, they are happy. It's so much fun to see the beautiful personalities of these creatures. This is definitely one of my "happy places ". You can't help but smile.

I have been volunteering at the Palace for about one and a half years. I''m proud to be a part
of this nonprofit for many reasons but mainly for the way the birds (and goats, chickens, dogs
and turkeys) are loved and taken care of. I have been to zoos where you can see the difference in the bird's attitudes. They are happy, healthy and loved at the Palace and have a great attitude compared to the zoo birds. Everyone should visit to see that happiness can come out of a bad situation for these birds.
Mia, our 26 year old Umbrella Cockatoo, went to her forever home, Patty's Parrot Palace, last October. For 25 years she was a pet in a cage, now she gets to live her true life, in a spacious aviary with lots of friends just like her. We know she is happier, healthier and full of life. We thank Trish, the owner, for Mia's "new life and digs". We visit Mia and can attest to the wonderful care Mia and all the other birds get, top notch!
I have had the most greatest experience with Patty’s Parrot Palace and continue too! I adopted my Moluccan Cockatoo, Willie, from Patty and he is absolutely amazing. We have had some ups and downs but Patty has helped me every step of the way without hesitation!! She is absolutely amazing and her number one concern and love is for all the birds!! The love she has for all these birds is AMAZING AND BEYOND WONDERFUL! I now board willie there for camp when I’m out of town and Willie has a great time!! I have never experienced such a beautiful place in all my life! The poor birds that are just given up on or don’t have a home anymore or their owners have passed away get to live out their life in a bird sanctuary that is bird heaven on earth! So blessed beyond belief I found Patty’s Parrot Palace or I would never have found my Willie!!! Highly recommend 100%!!!!

We adopted our Amazing, Sweet, Adorable Moluccan Cockatoo, Willy, from Pattys Parrot Palace. The whole experience was absolutely amazing from the beginning. I felt right at home when meeting my Soul Mate Bird. Patricia and her husband educated me from the beginning on how to have a successful adoption and future with Willy. Walking into Pattys Parrot Palace is like walking into a beautiful Caring bird heaven. All the birds are happy and healthy thanks to them and get to live their life out with tons of love. Highly recommend them to Adopt a bird or to just visit an amazing beautiful bird sanctuary.
The palace is one of the most compassionate and rewarding places I've ever been lucky enough to volunteer at. Trish and Tony truly love and care for every animal here as a part of their family!!
A very fun and unique place to volunteer and visit. The people are so amazingly fun and nice, the birds love to join in on the fun and it makes anyone's day better. A wonderful place to put on the "sights to see" list.
Patty's Parrot Palace is quite simply a non-profit animal rescue with true heart. Trish and Tony not only provide outstanding care (food and medical) for many parrots, but truly love each and every one of them, and know all of them by name!
I found them when searching for rescue organizations when I developed a severe allergic/asthmatic reaction to my Grey after 28 years and was forced to re-home him.
As a "parront", I provide financial support and can visit my baby, while he can enjoy having other birds to socialize with plus be outdoors in a more natural bird habitat.
Truly an amazing, magical place, and I am so thankful to have found them!
Please support if you can so they can continue to provide the very best care for all their beautiful feathered protégés!
Absolutely an amazing place! Trish and Tony have built a beautiful place for the birds. I look forward weekly going to volunteer, everyone has fun and the birds are thriving! So many awesome things happening here, the birds are given their second chance and that is really great.
What an awesome bird rescue community!!! Trish and Tony have made it their mission, to care for these birds. Also, goat yoga is a fun day for friends and family

Patricia, owner of Patty’s Parrot Palace, has an amazing connection with the birds under her care. She gains their trust and helps them open up and become more sociable. It’s amazing to see this interaction. Like the majority of nonprofits, adequate funding is always in short supply. However, Patty’s mission to improve the quality of life gives her the determination to grow and keep her sanctuary thriving. We need more people, like Patty, who follow their heart and help animals.
Had a wonderful time this morning with some friends and family... the goats cooperated fully! We had a chance to hold a baby goat that was just born last night, he was so cute.
Great for men, women, and kids.... although, I wouldn't bring very young kids as they may get frightened by the goats.
Donut, the turkey, is an added benefit

I found this piece of paradise last year when I was watching a local news program that was doing a story on Patty's Parrot Palace. At the end of the piece they said they were looking for volunteers & my heart jumped in excitement. Within a couple of days I reached out to Trish to let her know I was interested & within a week I was pulling up in the driveway. I don't believe that Trish has ever met a stranger, only friends she hasn't been introduced to. Once I got underway making myself busy with changing water & food bowls & cleaning cages the time just flew by. All of the other volunteers welcomed me warmly & it felt good to give back & help where I could. Trish & Tony have such big hearts & are doing amazing work taking in neglected & abused birds along with all manner of farm animal. I will keep coming back to this amazing place as long they'll have me to interact & care for these amazing birds and this wonderful non-profit!
Great place !!! Trisha is awesome, she is wonderful with the birds. She knows all the birds by name, the characters, likes and dislikes. Those birds are definitely in good hands.
PPP is a nicest bird sanctuary I’ve ever seen. Trisha and Tony know birds by names. My bird is very happy there!!! She is enjoying her friends company and warm FL weather! Thank you PPP
PPP is just the best sanctuary hands down. Its clean, well kept, and the perfect environment for the many animals that live there. Trish and Tony know every single animal by name and share their love with them all unconditionally. They are the most dedicated care takers I know. In the time I’ve been volunteering there they have expanded the aviaries to make sure all the residents have the space they need to live happy and healthy. They take in the most damaged souls and through love, patience, and a healthy environment they restore them to healthy happy birds. Their service to the community is unwavering. They sponsor community activities and engage students from the local university and through these activities they are helping to raise awareness for the plight of displaced pet birds and are encouraging the next generation of caretakers and advocates.
The Palace is the best part of my week! To watch how much we have grown, as a family and as a sanctuary is amazing. To watch Trish & Tony build such a strong team and outstanding aviaries for the birds; shows that their heart goes beyond just housing the birds. They want all of the birds to be homed, happy and fully-flighted; to excel, to be happy and to be loved everyday of their lives. Volunteering here each week has helped me to grow as a person and to see what true dedicated and love is! Patty's Parrot Palace isn't just a nonprofit, it is a family filled with dedication, determination, gratitude, humility and love!

Trish & Tony are the 2 most selfless people that I have ever met!!! Their dedication to the birds, all animals for that matter, continue to amaze me even as a volunteer. They continue to be an inspiration to me! I love them and I love being able to be a part of such an amazing organization!!! I am eternally grateful to them for allowing me to be a part of their amazing organization and family!! ♥️
Patty's Parrot Palace continues to be my favorite place to volunteer! Each day more and more progress is made to make it an oasis for the birds. Trish and Tony always outdo themselves, I will be supporting this non-profit for years to come!

I have been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace for the last 8 months. Volunteering at the palace has been one of my greatest pleasures. Trish and Tony are extremely caring and attentive owners. On top of the 100+ birds that they provide for and home, they also take the time to farm their own chickens and goats! They add culture, substance and value to their community. Every Sunday they host Goat yoga where participants are able to interact with the animals while also enjoying the serene surroundings that Deland has to offer!Birds that come to Patty's have transformed from abandoned, featherless dismal creatures to loved, lively, happy go lucky birds. Both Trish and Tony push to continuously make themselves and their establishment a better home for the birds. They've moved from Winter Springs to Longwood and finally to Deland in search of the perfect sanctuary.
If you ever have the chance to volunteer at or donate to Patty's Parrot Palace, you will not only have the pleasure of knowing that you've assisted a great cause , you will also know that you've helped one of the kindest people on Earth fulfill their passions of making a difference. What they've done is truly an inspiration and I can only hope that I one day dedicate myself to a noble cause just as they have.
The palace is a wonderful place for the birds, I’ve been Volunteering there for almost 2 years and I still love coming, Trish makes every day about the palace, she only looks to better the palace and the birds.
My wife and I have been contributing and volunteering at PPP for many years. We have seen them grow from a home packed with birds to their beautiful and professionally managed facility in Deland. Their dedication and care for their little charges is an incredible thing to experience.
Patty and her husband have given their lives over to caring for these wonderful birds, many of whom would not have found a home elsewhere. They have overcome so many obstacles in their goal of providing high quality and personal care for their birds. We are encouraged to continue our support for them and urge others to do so as well.
I have been visiting Patty's Parrot Palace for over two years now. It is such a beautiful experience to see how much the birds are loved as well as all the other animals on the farm. They have continually had to expand due to need so the birds will have room to spread their wings a little. The owners really do everything to take care of the animals and you can tell how much the animals are loved. They also have a wonderful group of volunteers who help to spread the love.
I have volunteered and supported nonprofits all of my life. For several years, I even ran one. This one is like no other, and it not only cherishes the folks that support it (hey, if your donation is sustaining, you get to pair your support with a specific bird there. How cool is that!?") but they take nothing for granted. A hands-on sanctuary like this is daily work and its founder, her husband, and the volunteers that work here are passionate about keeping this place healthy and afloat. I will forever be a sustaining supporter of Pattys Parrot Palace.

We have watched Pattys grow tremendously over the past year since they relocated across the street from us in DeLand. It is humbling to see how much work and dedication it takes to run the sanctuary, and often inside-their-home intensive care station.
The dedication of Trish and Tony is reflected in their loving volunteers and the welcome to our family/visitors for occasional educational tours-well that has us convinced its worth our support! It’s so much more than a sanctuary...but a bigger word escapes me
These are wonderful people doing wonderful things to help the birds. I can’t say enough great things about Patty’s Parrot Palace,
It’s rare to find people so committed to something that would take up all of they’re free time and resources. This place cares for each rescue as if they were the only one. It’s always a pleasure go and visit. You definitely don’t leave there feeling bad for any one in the flock. The birds and other animals are happy and thriving in this ever growing and developing environment they call home now. Thanks to Patricia, her husband Tony and all the awesome volunteers she has.

I couldn't be more great full for the team at Pattys Parrot Palace for being able to take my Petey and Blu and give them the attention and care they deserve. Though it was hard to do, it definitely was the best for them. I've since been able to visit and have seen that not only are they healthy but thriving in their new flock community with all the other rescues. The time and dedication this team of animal lovers puts forth is commendable. Thank you all you do.
This is an awesome place! Trish and Tony give so much for these birds, many of them coming from horrible situations and now they can be as much of a bird as they could be with the flight aviaries. Along with giving all of these guys a new life, they give back by offering community service hours such as Bright Futures for high school students.
It takes more work than meets the eye to run this operation, Trish and Tony do it very well and make sacrifices every day so that these animals may have a better life. Thank you

I started volunteering here when I was a seventeen year old senior in highschool. Now I am a twenty year old college student and I am still here! This is a great place! Trish and Tony not only rescue and sanction all of the birds in the palace, but they very positively influence all of the people that are exposed to it. They show heart with the cause that they are behind and if they can do all of this, what can you do?
A great organization who really takes care for their animals. The compassion they have for each bird is inspiring.

Patties parrot palace does an excellent job of taking care of all of the neglected and unwanted birds. Thank goodness for patties parrot palace
The love and care that the volunteer team provides to these beautiful birds is amazing. The amount of fresh fruit and seeds that is needed to provide nutrition for the many mouths they house is staggering. It takes a team hours to prepare and provide the meals these birds need to survive. Most of them are from abused or neglected environments and when the Palace staff is called to rescue, there is no hesitation to help. When the bird needs medical treatment, many times the staff has to cover the cost of the care and put out a request and plead for donations in order to keep everything running. The volunteer staff is amazing and I wish I was financially able to give enough to help build new aviaries and provide medical care, so the team can continue to accept birds that need a safe home. Watching a bird transform from their life of neglect into a happy, talkative creature truly tugs at the heart strings and reinforces the desire to continue to help in any way possible.
Such a great organization. The animals are well cared for- Patty is amazing and loves what she does.
Amazing place that cares for birds as well as other animals. The birds are in free flight which is unheard of. They fly free and the care and food is top notch!! I encourage you to go visit. Thank you Patty for all you do for the birds.
I love Pattys Parrot Palace. Everyone there is so welcoming and loving to the animals. I have never seen people have so much compassion towards animals. All of the animals are well taken care. Thank you all for your hard work!
The palace has provided the perfect home to Bubbles, Juno and all of the amazing birds that have come through. It is an amazing organization to be a part of and I will continue to remain a permanent part of Pattys.

After adopting Bubbles, it fills me with joy each time I see how improved he is and how great of a life he is living. Trish will always text me if I haven't been by in awhile because Bubbles gets sad and she does her best to keep him satisfied in my absence. It is such a relief since I'm a full-time student and Bubbles has truly become my child. Not only has the rescue grown, but so have I and my heart. Definitely a top rescue and best place for any bird to live out their life. I'm so proud to be a part of this!
The palace provides a top home to relinquished and rescued birds. Amazing organization and amazing people.
Everything about the palace is wonderful. You can tell how much love is given to every bird. She has give all the birds flight again in there new aviary. The palace is a true sanctuary.

From the moment I saw bubba I knew she was my bird. The palace rescued her from such horrible condition. The palace not only has taken a once neglected parrot and showed her love and affection but she is now with her endless love scarlet. The two are inseparable. I want to thank Patricia and Tony for not only taking care of bubba but all the the birds in the sanctuary.
I could no longer care for my parrot after 11 years and thankfully Trish was there. She knows these birds and they all love her!!! I truly think she speaks parrot. I am so grateful to know Azul is happy now with all his friends, and Trish is to thank for that.
I just adopted the sweetest 20 year old Cockatoo from Patty’s! It’s been a fantastic experience and I feel like I’ve made a new friend. Trish is so good with the birds and is willing to be a resource if I need help going forward. All in all a terrific experience!
I had a conure literally drop in on me. Animal control first took him and then they handed him over to Patty's. They were awesome. Had him looked over and worked hard to keep us together. You can really tell they have a great love for thier birds. They were very professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Couldn't be happier. Thank you patty's parrot palace!!
When my grand mother passed away a few months ago I was left with a beautiful Amazon. I tried my best to give her the attention she needed but my efforts were not enough. She ended up plucking her chest. That's when I started looking for help. We found Patty's website and gave her a call. After visiting the facility my mind was at ease. We ended up leaving our Amazon with her and I kid you not with in a week she was able to turn her around and find her a adoption mom. This woman is incredible I'm so happy we found her and I hope more people do.
The Palace is an amazing place. Each and every Parrot is given the best care and attention. Trish and Tony's dedication to the birds is beautiful. I have loved being a volunteer for Patty's Parrot Palace for over 3 years. Every week is something new and exciting with the birds. Percy the eclectus is one of my favorites!! Every week Percy and I have our special bonding time

Patty's Parrot Palace is a true "palace" and home for the birds that are lucky enough to have found their way to the best bird sanctuary around.
The love and care that Trish and Tony and all the volunteers give to the birds is beyond compare and compassion.
I think they have like 85 birds now and every single one of them have names and the birds hear their own names every single day. Their bond is beautiful!
The birds are all very special to the sanctuary and now they will be able to spread their wings and fly.
This is the most amazing and wholesome place for these babies in need. The amount of love every volunteer shows is incredible. Patricia and Tony are so dedicated to these animals and it really shows. I absolutely love them and the work they do. It’s so heart warming to know that these babies have finally found a place where they will be treated right and cared for.

Patty's Parrot Palace is an amazing local rescue and sanctuary. They provide vetting and care for so many needy birds. Trish takes a personal interest in every bird and welcomes them into their new forever home as part of the family. Their needs are met and exceeded. Love comes from all corners, Trish...volunteers...vets...donors...and more! The difficulties some of the birds have experienced fade away under the care, understanding, and love of those who are part of Patty's Parrot Palace. The fear and dread in owners' hearts at having to relinquish their beloved parrots are soothed and erased by the knowledge that the care and love that Trish imparts will allow their feathered family to be given another chance at happiness.
Great place! They really love the birds and take amazing care of them, no expense is spared for their feathered babies.
I love to come and volunteer at patty’s parrot palace, its really fun and everyone makes you feel welcome even the birds. Yes the birds love to talk to you. If you love volunteering this is the place. I highly recommended this to everyone including my friend.
Patty’s Parrot Palace is a loving, accepting place for parrots and humans alike. I’ve found love there, from animals who have loved touch lives and whose families have given up on them. The owners are amazing people I’m happy to work with who always look after the well-being of their rescues first and foremost. Seeing all the beautiful birds free in the aviary is such a heartwarming experience. It’s been my pleasure to volunteer for them.
Patty’s Parrot Palace the bird really does come first. Tony and Trish have made and continue to make sacrifices to ensure the welfare of the birds. Volunteering has become therapeutic for me and being in the new aviary with the birds is an amazing experience.
The people are great, and the birds are even better. The people I have volunteered with have had hearts of gold especially the lady in charge (Trish). I have learned much about birds as well as what it means to do good.
I just love spending time here with the birds and of course the people! Deciding to volunteer here is one of the best choices I've ever made. Everyone here really loves the birds and it is shown through everything they do.
Pattys Parrot Palace was my last chance to get my Bright Futures hours, and thanks to the great people who work here, I was able to get my hours. The people who work here are nice and generous and definitely improved my time volunteering. The birds are kept in clean, safe, and healthy environments. I always enjoyed coming here to interact with the birds.
Pattys Parrot Palace, a place where these birds can feel loved by Trish, Tony and volunteers who give them much love and unconditional care. For me it was one of the best experiences to have volunteered and to have been part of an incredible team.
Wonderful charity. I made the decision to become a donor when I witnessed the passion and dedication Patty and her volunteers have. These beautiful birds are so loved and cared for, many have been neglected and unloved for so long. It is wonderful to watch how they flourish with the proper care and compassion.
This non-profit parrot sanctuary is a life saver for all the parrots who are cared for there. I have been volunteering for over 2 years and have never seen such selfless giving by the owners and all the other volunteers! The "little guys" we care for are all heartbreakers.
This rescue does amazing things for parrots in need. Some of them come from horrible situations and are now able to take human interaction. Trish has a humongous heart for all the people who work with her and the parrots that she takes care of. She goes out of her way to make everyone comfortable and getting the attention they need to strive with her. I don't regret sending my first email to her and going to volunteer the first day, every day after has been a real pleasure.
Patty's Parrot Palace has been extremely welcoming ever since I've started volunteering there. From the first moment she made you feel welcomed and appreciated.
She also made it a very educational experience which was partially the reason I was there. She had answered every question and explains everything from nutrition to medicine administration.
"Proper husbandry" doesn't even begin to describe the treatment these animals receive. I've worked in other bird related non-profits and the quality of diets and socialization that I've witnessed since working here is uncomparable.
I would recommend this facility for anyone look to enrich their lives through volunteering or for those looking for animal care experience
Great people here with kind hearts. Amazing what they are doing for the birds. Love volunteering here.
Patty's parrot palace is an amazing, non-profit organization for parrots that are in need of a forever home. Trish and Tony, along with all of their volunteers, are always so welcoming and positive. It is so inspiring to see their care and compassion for each birds' health and best interest. I am a proud supporter and continuously enjoy visiting them!!
I loved being able to give my time to Pattys it was so much fun! Everyone was so kind and informative and being able to work with the birds was the most wonderful thing I have ever experienced. Trish has such a beautiful heart and being my first volunteer opertunity it really set a high bar. The work and love that they put into their organization is so amazing. Beautiful souls trying to do what's right and they really treat you like part of the family. It's not easy what they do, it takes so much hard work and effort and I was so happy to have been a part of their team and help take care of the birds!
Patty is the great bird defender, nurturer and protector. In addition to the immense undertaking of her birds' daily needs, Patty also finds time to advocate for animal rights and shine a light on the injustice of confined birds in captivity.
With limited resources and in a rather short period of time, she has transformed her nonprofit into a fully operational mission and it has fast become a sanctuary for more than just her flock, but also for the many volunteers who graciously assist with cleaning and feeding duties on a rotating weekly schedule.
When Patty sets her mind to something, she pursues it single-mindedly until it gets done. In the case of PPP, she has undoubtedly altered the lives of many birds who would have met tragic ends if they had not been rescued by Patty and her team.
I was a volunteer at Patty's Parrot Palace during the Summer of 2015. It was an awesome experience to be able to help take care of so many exotic birds. I aspire to be a vet and it was great exposure to exotic animals and the other volunteers and Trish were also very friendly. We all worked as a team to take care of 52 parrots that came from all different backgrounds of abuse, neglect, or just abandonment. It is great to see how Patty's Parrot Palace gives these birds a second chance.
I worked for a rescue that closed, Trish helped rehome the birds she couldn't keep, kept track of them, helped me visit them & helped me with job with rescue. Trish & Tony are awesome people who cares for birds & people to.
Patty’s Parrot Palace is a wonderful organization, and I am proud to be a volunteer. The birds are very happy and well cared for! Trish and Tony have set up a great system where food, water, and newspaper bedding are changed daily. Cages and bowls are cleaned regularly with a non-toxic solution, and every bird gets so much love, affection, and attention. Thanks to Trish and Tony for providing such a great environment for your birds, and for your volunteers as well!
From my little time spent helping these fantastic creatures, I can definitely say that Patty's Parrott Palace is a truly outstanding program. The owners, Trish & Tony, show major care and love to these birds as if they were their own. The amount of compassion they express, cannot by any means be surmounted by anything else. It has been a very awesome experience to work with these lovely people as well with the parrots.
After multiple bird sitters, I was so thrilled to find the Parrot Palace for my sunconure. During my Christmas trip, whenever I had a question about my bird I received a reply with pictures of my baby quickly. My parrot is not used to be inside the cage, and they made sure that he could play and fly around the cage when possible. When I returned, I got back my HAPPY parrot; no sign of stress. It was clear that during a month that I was gone he had so much fun. Parrot Palace is a great place for parrots, a comfortable, safe environment. They treat parrot with love and passion. I highly recommend this place to all bird lovers.
What an inspiration to fellow animal lovers. Pattys Parrot Palace was so impressive from what they do for these wonderful animals, to the level of organization they run the non profit that each animal is given one on one time and proper care and an ability to love. My boys have adopted Grendel and look forward to each video of his next dance and progress. Thank you to Patty and all her great volunteers.
I first visited Patty's Parrot Palace about 3 years and I recently started volunteering there after being so impressed. The compassion, love and care provided to the beautiful creatures who have "landed" here is beyond reproach and evident from the moment you walk in. The facility is immaculate as well as the cages of approximately 60 parrots who reside there. Trish and Tony Koile are the owners/operators of the sanctuary. Their dedication to providing a permanent home for the parrots in their care is absolute and unconditional. Their love and devotion is on display every day for each and every bird - from the largest Macaw to the smallest Lovebird.
I would like to add that their small army of volunteers appears to have been chosen with the care of the parrots being of the utmost importance. I have worked with several of the volunteers and can attest to the fact they do love the birds.
The plan for the near future is to construct a free-flight aviary. This would be so wonderful for the "babies" and the realization of long-held dream of Trish and Tony.
Without a doubt, this is the best rescue aviary I have every visited
Patty's Parrot Palace is such an amazing organization. They do amazing things for these birds and I'm so proud to be a volunteer! These birds couldn't be any luckier than they are at the palace.
Ive volunteered here over 6 months, These previously abandoned and neglected birds are in a amazing environment, filled with love. The owners trish and tony really put in an incredible amount of work to make sure the birds are doing good.
This place is amazing. From the start I was welcomed into the lives of the birds and got to help out. Their food and water is changed everyday and Trish and Tony are really nice and helpful when you are having trouble with something. The Birds are in a great place.
Patricia and Tony are the most amazing people. What they do for these birds is tremendous . The hard work and love that is given to each and everyone of these birds is beyond words. The neglected birds are now lived and eventually will have a place to fly free and enjoy a outside environment. I am a proud donor to the cause❤️.
Amazing place!!!!! These birds are SO well taken care of and loved by every single one of the volunteers there. Every bird gets a fresh clean meal every single day, their papers changed and their cages cleaned. The owners of this non profit are wonderful people! They are serious about the love they have for these birds and it's not everyday you see unconditional love like theirs.
A very helpfull service for birds in need. Tony goes above and beyond to help these birds. Tony and Trish are selfless in their service to these birds
Patty's Parrot Palace is defiantly where the Birds come first. Patricia and Tony really love the flock. This non-profit organization is the best and cleanest by far. As you can tell by the name it's a Palace for the birds. My favorite bird at the palace is Lupie.
Patty's Parrot Palace is a wonderful place to volunteer and learn about birds. the birds are well taken care of and eat better than most people.
With nothing to gain and everything to lose Trish and Tony Koile put the birds first and their needs second. Housing over 50 birds in their own home is admirable but the birds need more room to fly. Soon enough the flock will move on to greater heights where the birds will be relocated to a large property where they can experience their wild sides. Over 2 years of knowing this nutty family and I wouldn't trade a moment of it!

I've officially been at the Palace for over a year now and I must say I can't imagine life without this place. Trish and Tony are two of the most remarkable people I have ever met. They put the needs of their birds and volunteers before their own needs. If you need hours for whatever reason, Patty's Parrot Pallace is a perfect fit for you. I must say that if you do choose to volunteer here, be prepared to work hard. I've seen a number of people asked to leave due to laziness and lack of commitment. If you are willing to show up and work hard, soon enough volunteering here becomes more enjoyable than anything!
I've been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace for a little over a year now and I have loved every single time. What started as me going to support my girlfriend turned out to become one of the most rewarding experiences for me. Seeing first hand what goes on at the sanctuary has opened my eyes to the struggle of rescuing birds. Trish and Tony's love and commitment to the babies is truly admirable. I am excited to watch Patty's Parrot Palace grow into the vision that Trish and Tony have for it. This is not just any place to volunteer and get community service hours, but it is also a place where bonds are formed between people who share the same passion.

Time really does fly when you're having fun! I have been volunteering with the flock for a year now and it seems as if just yesterday was my first day. I was hooked since day one. Volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace is extremely fulfilling for me as I see the struggle that Trish and Tony go through on a daily. Remarkably, it is no chore for them as they have a love so strong for the flock. The bonds that they have developed with the birds leaves me in awe. It is almost as if the birds are grateful for being in the care of such loving and caring people. Trish and Tony have a passion and dedication that never ceases to amaze me. It is a feeling that I love to be surrounded by, therefore its no wonder that they can expect me to keep volunteering. I am proud to be a part of a team that works together for a selfless cause and I am truly blessed to have Trish and Tony in my life.
Patty's Parrot Palace has some of the most dedicated and loving individuals you will ever meet. Trish and Tony are committed to seeing the flock in flying large aviaries and are going on year five in pursuit of their vision. They have been blessed in overcoming huge hurdles over the past year and are still standing firm. They are amazingly supportive of each other in caring for over fifty birds daily. Their teamwork and their love for the flock is truly inspiring. I fully support their goals for the palace and am proud to be a part of Patty's Parrot Palace as a Board Member and volunteer. I am happy to serve the flock on all levels because they deserve it. I am grateful for Chris and Alicia for caring for the birds on a daily basis. As young adults in college, they could be doing anything else, but they choose to support the flock in all of their day to day care. Over the past years I have met some super friends who still volunteer to this day. It's a special bond we all share just by doing what we love, caring for the flock. Aside from our beautiful flock and all of their individual personalities, I especially enjoy loving on Cheech, a small green, grey and yellow Senegal who love me. I look forward to hearing his kisses and him just hanging out on my shoulder.
Patty's Parrot Palace continues to hold a very special place in my heart. I cherish every day spent with this outstanding nonprofit. We are a great bunch who will do whatever we can to provide the very best for our babies.

Another wonderful year with the flock. I have come to adore the composition of Patty's Parrot Palace and what it means to a part of the bigger picture: helping and giving. The palace is driven by compassion and the clear vision of giving the flock the very best. Many come to the palace not knowing what to expect, but it is clear how we feel when we partake, we feel connected to those beautiful birds and to the volunteers, all under one cause. Volunteering there, you attain a deep understanding of how much of an impact the pet trade has on pet overpopulation, and consequently on the lives of these amazing birds. You become an avian advocate the moment you learn their stories and can't help but feel the need to be a part of their lives! All 56 of them! Next thing you know, you're going daily or weekly, and doing everything you can you keep their attention. You're singing and dancing with them, and from the top of your lungs out comes "Wackawackawoo"! A funky word you learned from our feathered loves, Baby and Rock. It all becomes natural and you're captured into that bigger picture, where you only only needed 20 hours of community service and it turns into some much more meaningful over the past two years. It opens your eyes and your heart to a need that was not visible before, stronger conservation, protection and education for these gorgeous and intelligent birds. Volunteering at the palace becomes a part of your routine and you share this passion with the people you love, because it makes you feel so great to give back. As you see, there is no secret as to why I volunteer with the palace. Trish and Tony are extraordinary people with a tremendous capacity to give their all at all times. There are no days off and not all days are easy at the palace, but they keep up with an contagious attitude and energy. It's a privilege to help in spreading our wings and in watching Trish and Tony's vision develop into much more than they ever imagined. I really love you guys, thank you!
Trish and Tony do a great job taking care of all the birds. You can tell they really do love them, and it's a blast volunteering there, the birds come from all types of regrettable situations, but where they are at now is really a parrot palace !
Love this place! I cant believe the extent these two go to taking care of the birds and their volunteers. Trish always makes everyone feel welcome. She has a few right hand people, Chris, Alicia, Crystal who assist her along with her husband Tony introducing new volunteers to every bird and telling us the story behind their rescue. After being here a short time I already feel like I am part of the flock. After we are all done we often head to a quieter area and talk about things other than birds, of course while we are all sitting with a different bird on us. Don't hesitate to join the Palace in any way you can, its a blast!
Patty's Parrot Palace is a fun place to volunteer at. The birds are taken care of very well. Plus, everyone else working there is super nice and helpful.
Patty's Parrot Palace is a wonderful! Trish and Tony are as sweet as can be and the birds are very well taken care of here. Volunteering is very fun and a great experience in itself, an awesome place all in all!
Pattys Parrot Palace is a great place to help out at! Everyone working there is very nice and helpful. The birds are treated very well and receive the best care.
Patty's Parrot Palace goes above and beyond to take the steps necessary for providing each bird with a happy home. I have seen first-hand the amount of work, time, care and love that each member and volunteer puts into this non-profit. Definitely recommend!
I've only been volunteering here for about a month but I absolutely love it! They are so nice and caring and I love to see how everytime I'm there the birds are warming up to me! :)
I am a volunteer for Patty's Parrot Palace. This place has at least 53 large birds from Macaws to cockatoos to amazons. The owners of Patty's Parrot Palace are so welcoming and friendly and have a deeply sincere passion for all the parrots they have rescued. The birds are all in great condition and are cared for with so much love to ensure their happiness. All the birds are rescues and it will be great to see where this nonprofit will go with its expansion.
Patty's Parrot Palace is a great and friendly bird sanctuary. They treat the animals well, and the people that volunteer there too.
This is a great sanctuary with an amazing goal for the future of the birds! I have been here for around three and a half years and I still love it! Trish and Tony are giving so much for these birds and continue to give more, they are such great people!
I cannot say enough positives about this organization. The owner and her spouse, and the other volunteers I have had the privilege to work with, are exceptional people all around. They truly care about their avian family....and the birds are just that......family! With over 100 hundred volunteer hours in a period of 7 months, I cannot emphasize enough how well-cared-for the birds are and how loved they are; their cages, papers (liners for waste droppings), water and food bowls, toys, surrounding areas are cleaned meticulously each day with all- natural solutions. Feeding time was my favorite time! They really enjoy their feeding of organic nuts, grains and fresh fruit. It's also a climate controlled place to meet their needs. The birds also receive lots of social interaction. Some birds come from abused, neglected and forgotten backgrounds, and I have had the privilege to see them evolve and see who they are meant to be, all due the efforts of Patty's Parrot Palace.
This place is great! These 2 and their volunteers go way beyond the call of duty for these birds who need more than just a cage in a corner. Their plan to build aviaries brings hope to those of us that know these babies were never meant to be domesticated. Thank you Trish and Tony for all you do!
working for this charity group is really fun! the people are friendly and the birds are very loveable. this offers a rare chance to work with exotic birds who need lots of attention and time. the up close and personal moments with the birds are priceless. Patty's is the perfect thing for volunteering hours, the work is something everyone can do, and enjoy. dont hesitate to offer your time and your love.
I have been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace. I have enjoyed the experience and find it very fullfilling. The birds are quite beautiful and require daily support. The volunteers and staff were extreemly supportive and patient as I got to know, and feel comfortable with, the birds
I have been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Place for a few months and has been one of the most rewarding experience i have ever had! The people are friendly and very helpful. It is amazing to see so many people come together sharing the same passion to help the birds have a second change and strive for them to have a better life. Everyone makes sure each bird is loved and taken care for. HIghly recommend this place!! Love volunteering at a place where everyone is putting aside their needs to help others!!!
I have been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace for almost four months now and it has been great. All of the volunteers work their butt to help Trish and Tony give these birds what they need. Everyone here is like a family and they feel at home when volunteering. I would not want to volunteer anywhere else.
Patty's Parrot Palace is a great non-profit organization. I have volunteered at Patty's for 4 months, and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and hard working. Everyone works to provide the best home possible to the birds.
I have been volunteering for over a month with the most dedicated, friendly, loving people that put their entire hearts into this organization. By doing their best with what they have they have made the lives of all the birds extraordinary. This is the first volunteering ive ever experienceed where everyone on the job is fully committed to the cause. I love this place, the birds, and everyone involved.
Love this place, love these people! I have never seen more committed people than this group. Although they need room and more funding they continue to provide these wonderful animals with a loving environment fitted for a king! Trish is great to volunteer for always thanking everyone and ending each visit with a hug!

I've been volunteering for pattys parrot palace for about 4 months now and I absolutely love it! There is so much love and dedication that goes into caring for these birds. Trish and Tony are amazing people and are inspiring to anyone who has the pleasure of working with them..
Patty’s Parrot Palace is the first non-profit organization, that I believe, truly gives to their cause. I recently adopted a parrot named Oliver, which is the greatest bird I’ve ever owned. I currently own 6 other birds in addition to Oliver, and he has become a huge part of my family. My experience with Patty’s Parrot Palace was so amazing and getting to see all the birds and how well their taken care of, was wonderful. Their passion for the birds is truly inspirational. I highly recommend donating to this cause.
My daughter and I began volunteering at Pattys Parrot Palace so that my daughter could earn community service hours for a scholarship. We never knew what a fun learning experience that could be. From the moment we walked into their house, we were in awe on how well the birds are taken care of. Everything is clean, sanitary, and organized. I fostered 2 parrots years ago, and knew how much work was involved; but WOW, taking care of 60 birds the way that Trish and Tony do is quite the undertaking. And, I never realized either how expensive their food can be. Trish and Tony treat all their volunteers like family from the moment they walk in. In between cleaning and changing water and food bowls, cleaning cages, bathing, sweeping, dusting, feeding, etc., Trish and Tony educate the volunteers with regards to each bird's story on how they ended up at the palace, and what each particular bird's needs are. Trish and Tony treat the birds like their very own children. The atmosphere at the palace is enthusiastic and pure happiness for the birds. It's amazing how much love the birds have for Trish and Tony and the volunteers. Trish and Tony always put the birds' needs foremost, and thus are having to move from their current location in order to accommodate the palace's growth. Although my daughter and I are sad that they are moving, we will always be grateful for the opportunity that we had with them. One thing I know for certain, if I were a bird, I'd hope to be taken care of by Trish and Tony.
Apple has been at Pattys Parrot Palace for a year and has been very well taken care of. She has made friends with another bird and is very happy and healthy. It is such a blessing to have an organization like Pattys Parrot Palace and Trish and Tony have such passion for the well being of All their birds. I took by Mother to Pattys Parrot Palace to visit Apple and she was very impressed with the love and knowledge that Trish and Tony had for each individual bird.

Patty's Parrot Palace is a loving and giving environment for birds. Trish and Tony adopted my bird when we no longer could provide the best care for him. It was a hard decision but once I visited my bird at Patty's Parrot Palace I realized I made the best decision ever. He is surrounded by a clean and healthy environment and also many other birds who he gets to learn and grow from. Patty's Parrot Palace gives a distinct passion of care towards all of their birds. Trish and Tony are aware of each of the bird's likes and dislikes, and their personalities which helps the birds to be happier and healthier. I know I made the right decision by choosing Patty's Parrot Palace.
Allthough I do not own a bird I have freinds who do. They are allways talking about the importance of Pattys Parrot Palace and their work for unwanted birds. I think it is great that there are people who are willing to do the right thing for these birds.

I have been volunteering at Pattys parrot palace for almost a year now, and every time I go to help out I am impressed with how wonderful Trish and Tony are. They both hold jobs out of the home and still dedicate every moment they have to the birds in their care. I absolutely love how each and every single bird there can be handled by either Tony or Trish. When I first started I was a bit concerned because the sanctuary is run out of their home, but after that first day I have even more respect for the two of them. they have given up a portion of their home to ensure that birds who need a loving home have exactly just that. I was especially touched by a recent event that showed Trish and Tony's true love of birds; they have a small pionus named Garcia, and Garcia a few months ago had a stroke. The road to recovery for Garcia has been long and tough but, they never gave up hope on her. Trish and Tony hand fed Garcia for weeks and she currently is getting better. she has reopened her eyes and can eat on her own, it truly is an awe-inspiring account of their dedication to help any bird in need. Trish has a heart of gold and it really is something else to see her loving up on each of her feathered babies. I really can't say enough how amazing this organization is and I want people to understand that there really isn't many rescues as amazing as Pattys Parrot Palace. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM! : )
Although I do not reside in the Orlando area, I had the pleasure of meeting Trish and Tony through some friends of mine that volunteer with them. All it took was a couple of hours for me to conclude that this couple is absolutely dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the parrots they foster in their own home. Trish and Tony, along with their committed volunteers, take the time out of their demanding schedules to properly care for every single one of these birds; this entails – but it not limited to - cleaning their cages, bathing them, letting them roam around to get some “exercise”, or even simply talking to them to see if they’ll sing in response. These may seem like minor duties but they become time-consuming when there are literally over 40 birds to be taken care of. Moreover, these parrots are cared for in Trish and Tony’s own home so they are basically the equivalent of this couple’s children. Nonetheless, the passion that everyone in this organization exhibits while tending to these parrots is more than commendable and the environment is amazing. They are so welcoming to any new volunteers and will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and like you are a part of their family.
To start off, I would like to mention how amazing Trish and Tony are. The love they have for the birds is incredible. Aside from the birds, Trish and Tony have a busy life, yet they manage to give the birds such great care, attention, and love. I have never seen that many happy birds in one house until I met these lovely people. They have dedicated their home and most of their time to fulfill the needs of the birds that they have rescued and will continue to do so. I have witnessed the care that a different rescue provides for their birds and it is absolutely nothing compared to the care given at Pattys Parrot Palace. I have seen birds at the other rescue who are extremely unhealthy, sick, underweight, and are plucking their feathers because of how depressed they are. I assure you that you will never find that happening at the Pattys Parrot Palace. No matter the situation the birds have come from, who has broken feet, who has a deformed wing or who was the result of breeding gone wrong, each and every bird there is happy and as healthy as possible. Trish and Tony have given each of these birds a second chance and their life back. It is incredible how much patience these two people have, while other people gave up after such a short time. Trish especially has influenced me tremendously. She has taught me that patience is extremely vital if you want to see a change for the better.

A simple google search introduced me to Pattys Parrot Palace. As an aspiring animal cruelty investigator, I sought out to look for organizations that I could volunteer at to gain experience on animals. Upon submitting my application, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Not only have I gained an amazing experience, but I had the opportunity to meet such great people and make new friends. In this process, I found Trish and Tony, the people who run the palace and who has welcomed me into one of the best things that has ever happened to me. They are truly the most caring people I have ever met, treating every one like family. Their organization has given me so much experience and I've got a ton more to learn. I always look forward to being here. Seeing the bonds Trish and Tony have with each of almost fifty birds is mind blowing. The way they understand each bird leaves no doubt that they are very dedicated to the organization.
I've started volunteering here and its just an amazing place. Trish and Tony care about these birds so much and they know what it takes to take good care of them. They have opened their home which is not easy, and filled it with birds. Their whole lives reside around helping them. The place is clean and healthy and with the help of volunteers the birds get the attention they need. Its a great place for the birds to go when they need help and its a great place for people to volunteer who love birds or who want to learn more about them. Being involved in this place is a great opportunity and its important to know you're helping with a cause people care about and its a great way to raise awareness.
This place is the best place for birds and the best environment for volunteering. I volunteered at PPP a year. At the beginning it was not because I loved birds but because I needed the hours. Now, if it was up to me, I would spend my time at this awesome sanctuary since I have learned how to love and interact with these fluffy friends. The experience I gained volunteering at PPP was life changing, I changed my my mind in respect to parrots and animals in general because they aren't there just for company but to cheer us up when we are down, to love us when no one else does it, to let us forget our problems and just enjoy the moment!

Patty's Parrot Palace is an awesome place, with many birds that are all happy and singing and it is fantastically clean! I love volunteering there!! This place is driven by awe-inspiring people, Trish, Tony and volunteers like me, We've created a close bond, that's why we all are like a big family. I love being part of this outstanding crew! My experience in this avian sanctuary has changed part of my life, I've learned about loving others, taking care of everything we have and appreciating every single moment in life even if we are in a bad moment, they have taught me that there is always a reason to don't stop smiling.
We were forced to find our Cockatoo Lily Grace a new home, and we were heartbroken. She was like our child. For a year plus we interviewed private individuals and shelters to no avail. Our standards were very high - Lily Grace was NOT going to just anybody. We were so blessed to finally find Patty's Parrott Palace and Trish & Tony. Spotless cages and facility, fresh foods and lots of personal attention. Lily has never been happier, I mean amazing! The entire environment is all centered around the birds and providing a safe happy singing home. The sanctuary feels happy, the birds are singing and Trish & Tony are always smiling with great stories about who has learned a new word or trick. It is not just for the birds, but for the volunteers, they learn a lot about values, team work, and compassion. I have personally seen transformations in some of the kids, it is truly an amazing place.

Large Birds are the most abused animals....They are put in dark rooms, left in garages, shoved in small cages that are way to small, and left with no socialization. Patty's Parrot Place is committed to providing these birds a wonderful home full of life and interaction. I had to give up my bird and I was very picky, I had been looking for 5 years for a proper place for Lily (Umbrella Cockatoo). I was referred to Patty's and I spent time at the rescue just observing on more than one occasion. It is am amazing place full of love and kindness! Yes, a little crazy.... but in a good way! The birds get so much attention and they are focused on diet and health. It is by far the cleanest rescue I have ever visited and trust me I went to them all trying to find a place for Lily. She is a special girl as they all are, but they treat her like gold, and most important that is how they treat all the birds....as individuals. They all have their quirky personalities with different likes and dislikes and Trish & Tony know them all!!
This place is amazing! I learned a lot while I was volunteering in this place. The people, the birds.. Everything is just amazing!. I remember my first day at Patty's Parrot Palace, I was really scared but everyone helped me into understanding how to take care of animals, like these birds, and how to make a bond with them that will totally change your view about birds. I used to not like birds very much, I was really scared of them, because I have had a really bad experience with them when I was little, but Patty's Parrot Palace changed the view I had about birds. At the end of my volunteering time I was petting birds, feeding them with my own hands, carrying them, and even talking to them. I grew to love this birds and the people in this organization, this organization exerts a warmth that changes everyone that enters this place. This is why I would not think about it twice before volunteering again, or even referring it to someone. However, what is more important is how the people take care of the birds, within days of a new bird been arrived, it is already in good conditions and in stable health. This organization takes care of the birds in their maximum, the give their birds their all, and the best.
What an amazing place! When you walk into, the Palace you are greeted by the sounds of happiness coming from a flock of birds who would have otherwise lived in horrible and probably abusive homes. They have landed at their safe place thanks to Trish and Tony. You can see and feel the love and compassion they have for these beautiful creatures. I hope that anyone who reads this will be fortunate enough to visit and/or donate to this most amazing non-profit organization.

The first time I stepped into Patty's Parrot Palace, I sensed that it was someplace special. Upon spending time with Trish and Tony, I knew my instincts were correct. Each and every one of their (40 some) rescued parrots receive love and attention usually only seen in a home with one or two parrots such as mine.
It is obvious that their volunteers share their passion for parrots as well. On every one of my visits, I have seen volunteers lovingly interacting with the birds - not just doing the routine chores of cleaning cages and filling food and water bowls. These fine folks fully vet anyone who is to come into contact with their precious charges.
When a parrot comes into the sanctuary, it is there forever. No re-homing. On a personal note, my own beloved parrots will go to live at the Palace when I embark to the great sanctuary in the sky.
The passion and love for all the parrots at the Palace is palpable. The birds are all well-cared for and live in a clean and healthy environment, which seems to me to be a monumental undertaking.
Any parrot who ultimately ends up at Patty's Parrot Palace with Trish and Tony is truly blessed!
Patty's Parrot Palace is a remarkable non-profit to get involved with! Each bird is housed with the utmost care and compassion with each need being adequately addressed and remedied. Her organization is also a great avenue for involving the community youth. Reading all the wonderful reviews about this facilty does not accurately do it justice-Taking a tour of the sanctuary will not only be eye-opening, but serve as a testament that these birds are properly being rehabilitated and are indeed loved! We can all appreciate the importance of 'second chances' and feel connected to things we can control. All in all, if I ever come back as a bird-I pray that I land at Patty's! :-)
I was looking for Bright Futures hours and my mom stumbled upon Pattys Parrot Palace. We were curious about it and thought it would be an interesting experience. And that it was! My first day I was very nervous, but Trish was so welcoming and so were the other volunteers. 54 birds are quite a chore, but Trish does it with tons of enthusiasm! She had a name for every bird and knows each of their unique personalities. Every one of the birds are treated like a son or daughter and are loved very muh :) The cages are cleaned every single day and each are fed with specific foods for their wants and needs and they are also given baths weekly as well as beak trims when needed. It is a very clean and welcoming place, and Trish treated me like one of the family. I didn't expect to learn as much about birds as I did volunteering for the parrot palace. Birds are unique in their personalities and talents and I got more comfortable with them as the weeks passed. I hope they get the land to build an outdoor aviary because the birds would have the freedom to fly wherever they choose. I highly recommend volunteering for this organization because it is a welcoming and enlightening experience :)
This place is amazing! I just moved to the central Florida area and I wa so glad to cross paths with Trish and her flock. I love seeing all of her birds/babies every week and I'm glad I can take part in such a great cause. I would recommend this place to anyone. :)
Trish truly cares about the well-being of all of the birds under her care...and it really shows. She selflessly provides a safe haven to many unwanted, unloved and abused animals. The sheer undertaking of the amount of daily, arduous work is inspiring and admirable. From the cute names to the individualized diets and care, she really is providing much more than a home to these birds. She is providing a way for these animals to feel wanted and valued - and that definitely deserves the highest rating award on this site.
This organization is awesome!! The birds are well cared for and content, and Trish and Tony do so much to provide a nice life for these rescue birds! A really wonderful non-profit!!

I started helping with the birds a few weeks ago. They're all so wonderful! Not to mention how great Trish and Tony are. They love their feathered family, and it shows. I'm very happy to know that people care so much for animals that need it the most.
Trish and Tony are extremely welcoming and eager to teach new people about their organization, and their love for the birds is apparent in everything that they do. I've had a blast volunteering for them, and am continuing to do it now, even after I finished my requirements for school. I never imagined I would find a volunteer organization that was so much like one big family!
Great organization! Trish and Tony show their love and passion for the parrots far beyond what you could ever imagine! The birds are happy and singing, the place is clean and they are all on a better diet than me! I enjoy this place and the people that run it!
Patty's Parrot Palace is such a wonderful place. The owners are very sweet and caring people. They keep the place so clean and show love to each and every bird they have rescued. I volunteered a few times and really enjoyed being there. My first day, Trish took me through and told me the name of each and every bird along with its story. Its inspiring how they put tremendous amounts of their time into making a home for the flock.
I was introduced to Pattys Parrot Palace through a mutual friend, my first day of volunteering I was amazed by the awesome care each parrot resident has. Trish, Tony and all the volunteers at Pattys Parrot Palace are truly a blessing to the parrot world, they go above and beyond to make a difference. I am a proud supporter of Pattys Parrot Palace!!!!
I first met Patty several months ago through a mutual friend. She is dedicated and truly respects the birds that come into her rescue. She invited me to come in to see her many "rescues". She takes great pride in doing the right thing for them and will make sacrifices so their needs are met. A wonderful woman doing a great job and making a difference in the bird rescue community!!!
Love the Palace. It is "Parrotdise". In the 2 years that I have volunteered at PPP I have seen birds arrive with plucking and emotional issues. After a few months with Trish and Tony the birds are thriving, feathers growing back and becoming more social and interactive. It's evident the sacrifices Trish and Tony make to ensure the birds receive the best care and nutrition when you see the positive changes in these birds. It's a fun and energetic environment with music playing and dancing along with the birds. I'm not sure who is more blessed me or the birds.

Patty's Parrot Palace is indeed PARROTDISE!! I always look forward to my volunteer days at PPP. Birds have smiles on their beaks and joy in their wings. Knowing that I am able to give back to the community by not only helping these wonderful birds, but by being able to help this amazing, loving, sacrificing couple. Tony and Trish give everything they have to ensure the proper care of these birds. It's hard to not feel energized after a few hours at the Palace. There is as much play as there is work and how often does one get to dance with a Macaw or cuddle with a Cockatoo? It's PARROTDISE for the birds as well as the bird lover.
My husband, two little girls, and I adopted Dillon an Eclectus parrot from Patty's Parrot Palace in January of 2014. Dillon caught my eye on PetFinder and I immediately contacted Trish. My husband and I were looking for a few months to find a parrot that would fit well with our family. We have a 1 year old Mastiff, a 5 year old Bulldog, a Parakeet, and two daughters (3 and 2 years old). I can wholeheartedly say we picked the BEST parrot rescue in this area! Trish and Tony really made us feel comfortable, and they were so knowledgeable. They took the time to introduce us to every parrot and tell us a little about them, we were truly impressed! You could tell the parrots were so well taken care of by Trish, Tony, and all their amazing volunteers. I was informed when I got there, birds aren't usually adopted out but they felt Dillon belonged with a family. Trish couldn't have been more right, Dillon has done amazing in the past couple months we've had him. He comes out with a new word or sound practically every day, he even calls my dogs in when they're outside. He says "c'mon honey" and makes a loud clicking sound. Anytime he see's one of us he greets us with "hello Dillon" or "hey Dillon". Dillon has brought so much joy into our lives, and we are thrilled he is happy in his new home. Even after adopting Dillon, Trish has been such a huge help to us. Any questions or concerns I have I send Trish a message and she always responds with such great advice. We are so blessed to have welcomed Dillon into our family and to have met such amazing people like Trish and Tony. I would highly recommend Patty's Parrot Palace for anyone looking to rehome their birds.

Love the birds, love the people, love this place! I haven't met anyone more dedicated to their cause than Trish and Tony. Absolutely amazing and the birds are so happy!

As a board member of Patty's Parrot Palace it is amazing what we have been able to accomplish in 3-4 years. Our name has become well known with the area high schools as the Bright Futures candidates work with the flock socializing, upkeep and playing! Not only does this benefit the birds but I believe these young adults who are headed into a new chapter of their life. They appear to walk away with something to remember and hopefully apply. Once they hear of the unfortunate lives some of these birds have endured it changes their thoughts on "just getting a pet". Our goal is to bring awareness to the community and to assist these birds in living out there life in flight as close to being a "real" bird as they can be.
I'm not very outgoing so I was concerned of a place where I would feel comfortable needing Bright Future hours. Trish and Tony are amazing people with a family full of feathers and love! They go beyond in every way with their care for the birds, their diet, their environment, socialization and gratitude for their volunteers. I love this place and they deserve blessings from above!
Tony and Trisha, Live eat and bleed for their birds. The love and devotion they show each and everyone of their animals goes above and beyond. They treat the birds as if they were one of their own, and the sacrifices they make go beyond their own personal needs. I am so glad we have people like this to protect helpless animals in their time of need. I am not sure I could do the same. What ever you can do to help Tony and Trisha, in their quest will always be heart felt and very much appreciated. Vann
Such a great place that caters to each parrots needs and you feel truly welcomed.
What a blessing of a place
My goodness, what an amazing place. It was clean, neat and orderly with a staff who was exceptionally friendly and passionate for their cause. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to this whole new world and being patient with answering all of my questions. The owners of this place have done one heck of a job at creating a wonderful culture and I plan on bringing my kids for our next visit. Can't wait to go again....
I can't said enough about them. They are dedicated to making sure these poor Parrots that are unwanted or mistreated are given a better life. The time and money they put toward the animals is OUTSTANDING! Bravo to them and God bless the work that they provide for these Parrots.
As fellow bird lovers and animal lovers, we were blown away by the dedication and love Tony and Trish show to "their flock". They spend countless hours of their days taking care of these birds and the love they for them is amazing. We have become "forever homes" for 4 of their birds and the temperament of the birds is a testament to the love and care they show these birds. We have been blessed to know Tony and Trish and their flock!
Trish and Tony spend countless hours of their time and become emotionally invested in every case that comes through the door at Patty's Parrot Palace. Their dedication and love for what they do is inspirational to myself others and their passion shines through in their commitment to this significant and worthwhile cause. I truly wish I had the ability to help this organization more financially, because Parrot Rescue is uncommon, and the need is definitely there.
Unfortunately, they remain sorely underfunded, despite all their efforts. This, however, does not stop them from taking the best possible care of each and every rescued friend. Kudos to this great team of fervent volunteers !!
I'm writing this regarding Pattys Parrot Palace. If I were a Parrot with no home & no one to care for me and no one to love me anymore Pattys Parrot Palace would be as close to Parrot Heaven as I could find. Thank goodness for the Love and overwhelming care that Trish, Tony, and staff put fourth day in and day out caring for some of us wounded however happy little feathered Parrots. There is no chow line and my cage is always spottless I have a fantastic view overlooking the pond and trees. Like I stated above if I were looking for a new home this place is like a Parrot Palace..
Tony and Trish are totally dedicated to these birds! They keep them in great shape, and they are so loved and enjoyed. Both of them are very appreciative of their volunteers, and do a lot to help them. The only thing that might make this sanctuary better, would be if they were financially able to get a place where they could create an outdoor aviary, so the birds would have more room and more freedom. They have so many, but they are too soft-hearted to turn down any birds that truly need a home.
Since the loss of my Mom it was apparent that no one in the family was in a position to take her beloved bird. It was a blessing to find Patty and her flock. This is one organization that truly deserves anything and everything to bless them! They do not only love and care for each of these birds but have a understanding of them beyond explanation! Thank you for what you do guys you are truly amazing!
Several years ago, Trish and Tony realized there was a great need to better care for abandoned, neglected, or unwanted birds. Since then, they have totally embraced the mission and adopted the lifestyle of caring for these birds and providing the proper attention and care to nurse them back to health and allow them to live their lives in a loving environment. I have spent many hours in the company of both Trish and Tony, and frequently, that time is spent talking about their "babies" and all the cute things they have recently said or done. They know these birds by name and are completely familiar with each of their character traits and needs. One of the most tender moments I have ever experienced was Tony telling me about the death of one of their birds earlier in the day. These aren't just birds to them, they really are like their children.
In addition to rescuing these beautiful birds, Trish and Tony have also provided limitless opportunities for students seeking Bright Futures volunteer hours, and opportunities for bird loving non-students, as well. Patty's Parrot Palace is a happy, friendly, clean, and thriving environment for both our feathered friends and animal loving humans, too!
I have only been working with Patty's Parrot Palace for a couple months now but it has been an amazing experience so far. Trish and Tony are two incredible people that have made me feel comfortable volunteering with them since day one. They show great care and devotion to each and every single bird they have, as well as, to all of their volunteer's. Patty's Parrot Palace has a very respectful and friendly environment that I love to be apart of. All of the volunteer's that I have worked with have been very friendly and helpful, showing me everything that needs to be done. Working with all of the birds have been incredible as well. Many of them are very friendly, playful, and talkative, which is really an incredible thing to be a part of. The only downside to Patty's Parrot Palace is that it can get very loud with all of the many different types of birds around, but i have found that it doesn't really bother me while I am volunteering. Trish and Tony have created a truly remarkable organization that I am happy to be apart of and am looking forward to volunteering for them in the future.
I have been volunteering at Patty's Parrot Palace for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. Trish truly values every bird that comes in and that can be seen in the way she cares for every bird regardless of its special needs. Trish and Tony know every bird's personality and they always put the bird first in any care given or socialization. They absolutely love what they do and that love is contagious as they inspire their volunteers, like myself, to love and get to know the birds too.
I have volunteered here for several months and its great! Everything is kept well cleaned and sanitary. The birds are socialized and everybody shows so much love towards the birds and their volunteering!
I have known Trish and Tony personally for 15 years s customers of ours. Their rescue far superceeds any I have ever read or heard about. Not many people in this world would put the bird's needs first but there is no question about it with them. I personally am an avid animal lover and am SO proud of all they are doing. I hear the love and emotion in the voices for each and every one they rescue.
Patty has saved the lives of sonny birds that have been abused and neglected. Her dedication to her organization is unmatched.
Party's Parrot Palace is a fabulous place for the birds! Trish and Tony Koile are gifted with their love, understanding, and passion for the birds! I run a parrot rescue, and work with Trish and Tony pretty regularly. They and their facility are top notch, and the birds in their care get the best of everything! They interact with all the birds there, and all are very happy and fulfilled in their environment! I can't say enough good about Patty's Parrot Palace, and would recommend them to anyone in need of this type of service for their birds! BRAVO Trish and Tony!

Parrots As Pets Rescue
There are people in this world that have a special bond with animals, a connection. In visiting Pattys Parrot Palace you realize that Trish and Tony have this connection. Watching the change in the birds from one of neglect to one of being loved is miraculous. I would highly recommend volunteer opportunities, gifting or just visiting it would be time and dollars well spent. They make a difference.
Our company, Elite Steam, has been associated with Trish and Tony for quite some time and have had the opportunity to assist them in cleaning the cage areas. We have witnessed first hand how well they care for these birds; they are committed and diligent in helping these birds get well, finding good homes, and providing them excellent care.
These two are great foster Parents and deserve all the help that can be given to them to help further the care and well being of these beautiful birds.
I'm so thankful for Trish and Tony. Pattys Parrots place is such a loving and welcoming environment. I originally signed up to volunteer and for some community service hours but its so much more for me now. I have fallen in love with these birds and I definitely recommend it.
Here's what I know, when the Palace first started they had a little guy named Perry. He was in need of a lot of attention. The Palace as new as it was went to tremendous expense, time, and effort to get this Quaker healthy. When I adopted him he was loving, sweet and quite a talker. Since then the Palace has been through its share of ups and downs with one thing remaining the same - the love for the birds first, making sure they healthy, safe and stimulated. When called upon Trish and Tony like other first responders act then ask questions. They have changed their lifestyle to take on this passion for the love of the birds.
I first started out at Pattys Parrot Palace January 2013 to fulfill some hours for a class at UCF. Since then i have learned so much about the different types of birds and the needs that they have. Trish and Tony some of the nicest people i have ever met. They've opened up their house to facilitate 40+ birds. Being able to interact with all the birds you really get to notice that they all have different personalities. They all can say some funny things and laugh with you. There are plenty of awesome volunteers that are always here so anytime there is always going to be a fun time at Patty's Parrot Palace.
I love this place...Everyone is nice and very caring...Everything is about the well being of the animals, and it shows...The cleanliness, the food storage and preparation is all all top notch. The birds are loved not just cared for, the owners have genuine love of these creatures and do their best to make certain they are looked after to the best of their ability. I could not imagine what an undertaking this must be 24 hours per day as I only volunteer a few hours a week, but their dedication is extraordinary in every way. The cages and aviaries are spotless and beautifully designed, the birds are fed the best of everything from fresh fruit and veggies to the best seed and food money can buy. It is an honor to be a part of this establishment. Thank you for letting me be a part of it !!! Adam Passalacqua
My daughter volunteers at Pattys Parrot Palace which is how I came to know them. On our first meeting Trish introduced us personally to every single member of her flock, over 40 birds, we learnt their names, about their personalities and their particular stories. Trish and Tony open their doors and hearts, not only the birds in need but also to the people that come to help out. It is truly an amazing place ran by equally amazing people.
Patty's Parrot Palace is awesome, the love, care and attention that these birds receive is absolutely beyond amazing! The birds all have different and unique personalities, it is a treat to see them in action. Especially HARLEY!!! He is the BIGGEST showoff I have ever seen, he definitely stole my heart. I tell everyone he is my boyfriend, my husband was starting to get a little jealous....lol! If my husband didn't work some night shifts he would have been mine along time ago! If you have not checked this rescue out I strongly urge you to do so they are wonderful and the birds are very blessed to have such GREAT caregivers.
patty's parrot palace is awesome! they have so much work to be done with their house full of birds! the owners just started with one bird and they care so much that it ended up taking over their lives. thy honestly care for the well being of the birds and develop close relationships with them, because birds are so smart they have their own emotions and need love and care and at patty's they get so much more than that. As a volunteer I can honestly say that being introduced to such caring and loving people helped me, and they need ALL the help they can get to keep caring for helpless birds who can't care for themselves when incompetent owners bit off more than they can chew. Without Patty's these bird lives would be horrible, and anything anyone can do for another living thing who can do nothing for them in return deserves a little help! Patty's Parrot Palace is a lovely place and they get nothing for turning their house in to a zoo! and that's just not right.
Patty's Parrot Palace has opened up doors for the abused birds to finally have a happy, healthier and more enjoyable life. Trish has made it her purpose in life to do all that it takes to not let any birds feel neglected. She has such a big heart that goes way beyond the word compassionate. She started this non-profit in hopes to one day run her own sanctuary where the birds can fly free and feel no harm. Stepping into Trish & Tony's house (where the birds are located) all you hear is talking, laughing, whistling and the ringing bells on their toys. What better way to come to with over 40 rescue birds greeting you. I love the fact that she hasn't given up when she has already sacrificed so much to care for these birds. Trish & Tony provided volunteer hours as well which is a great opportunity for anyone. This gives everyone a chance to see how much work it takes to keep the Palace running and get knowledgeable about the rescue birds. More importantly, it shows how much Trish & Tony love what they do. Its a learning experience, just like people these rescue birds have a past and a story that may not be that great. But now that they have come in contact with Patty's Parrot Palace, they are home.
I started Patty's Parrot Palace as a way to earn my community service hours for college, and it ended up being a fantastic experience. The owners and volunteers were so welcoming and friendly. The amount of love and attention given to these rescued birds is inspiring. Of all the places I have volunteered, I have never met people as passionate about their cause, as I did with there.
I've had the pleasure of doing business with Patty's Parrot Palace and I can tell you that there is no one who in this part of Florida is more dedicated to the well being of these abandoned, neglected and re homed parrots. The time that they put into making sure these birds know they are HOME along with the wonderful volunteers that they consider extended family is amazing. Not only are the birds important but their volunteers are too! What great people and a wonderful organization to see get acknowledged for their hard work!
I first came to Patty's Parrot Palace in the summer of 2012 after stumbling into some trouble. I needed community service hours and birds sounded like an interesting experience. Little did I know, I had found a place I would continue to return to long after my required hours had been fulfilled. The dedication of Trish and Tony to helping improve the lives of their flock is truly admirable. Of course, their flock reaches well beyond the many parrots that have been saved from horrid conditions and into the lives of many young adults. They're an example that you truly can improve the world around you if you are willing to work hard enough.
Patty's Parrot Palace is more than a sanctuary for parrots, it's a beacon of humanity. The majority of the funds required to support the 49+ birds living at the shelter comes out of pocket from Trish and Tony. The love emanates through the walls of this place and you can see it in every single bird there. Trish and Tony have a special connection with the animals they care for. Birds that were considered "unmanageable" and nearly put down are now some of the friendliest birds you'll meet thanks to Trish and Tony. I am so grateful to be a small of part of this warm loving family.
Love this place! The people who run this place are angels from parrot heaven! Birds singing, dancing, laughing but most of all feeling loved. I visited the sanctuary for the possibility of placing my bird here when the time comes that I can no longer take care of her and decided I would like to be placed here! The energy is amazing, you can sense the importance of why they do this. Trish and Tony go way beyond several other non profits I know. Its definitely not about the money its about the bird and that is one of the reasons they rarely adopt out any surrendered bird. Their philosophy is they never want to see these birds re homed again. I like that as I know birds transfer owners several times within their lifetime. I would definitely suggest PPP for any and all recognition and grants that are out there...with them I know it is going to the birds (literally).
I was looking for somewhere to volunteer for my bright future hours. I found Pattys parrot place Online, and it became far more than just volunteering. I've learned so much about interacting with birds. Trish and Tony really have a great passion for all of their birds and its always a fun, learning experience each time I go. Volunteering is not dreadful, and I enjoy helping out an organization with such an awesome purpose.
This is an amazing and exceptional organization in every way! We were looking for a parrot to adopt and found Patty's Parrot Palace on the internet. From our first communication it was clear that they love what they do. They put their heart and soul into rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming parrots and manage it all with incredible compassion, instinct, knowledge and professionalism. Their organization was spotless and a wonderful environment for birds, and it was obvious that their sanctuary birds are cherished, nurtured members of the family. I was so impressed by their enthusiastic and heartfelt dedication to the welfare of birds and recommend this organization highly.
I started volunteering here almost two years ago. It was the best experience i ever did. I didn't even think of it as community service. I truly enjoyed it and loved it. Tony and Tricia are two amazing people with amazingly bigger hearts. They give there heart soul to this organization and for those birds. Its awesome what they do for these birds to save them. Being volunteer here made me love birds and was thankful there are people like Tony and Tricia in this world to save and speak for these birds.
I started here skeptical of what I was getting in to. Not having much experience with birds I was amazed at how the Palace had them socialized and spent so much time with them. I have since finish my hours for my Bright Futures requirement but I still continue to come. They are a great group of people with a great cause...to put the bird first
