I am a New Yorker who was in Atlanta for business and a client invited me to join him in attending the annual Gala for the Thanks Mom & Dad Fund. Needless to say, I was blown away by this charitable organization. They are doing something very important for the community and it's clear that their leadership is motivated by kindness and generosity. I was fortunate enough to meet Maureen Kelly (who founded the charity) and it is easy to see why the Thanks Mom & Dad Fund is so well run and successful in making a positive difference in the world that we all live in.
