PCI Media Impact is an innovative leader in using broadcast media to bring about positive social change. During 30 years of work with partners, PCI Media Impact has produced more than 5,000 episodes of 100 programs, increasing knowledge, changing attitudes and facilitating behavior change on some of the most pressing issues of our time, including HIV/AIDS prevention, reproductive and sexual health, child and maternal survival, water, sanitation and hygiene issues, human rights and sustainable development. These productions have reached more than 1 billion people in 50 countries. The organization's most recent work has been in West Africa, where it played a leading role in the Ebola crisis. The #ISurvivedEbola Campaign was an outstanding contribution to bring hope in a region of total despair. By elevating survivors and putting their stories on the air, they gave hope to millions and positive guidance on how to prevent and/or treat this deadly disease. It is truly one of the best ways I know to leverage the donor dollar to achieve results and make the world a better place...one story at a time!
