My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Junior State of America, Oakland, CA, USA
JSA provides a transforming experience, and is probably the most unique high school organization I have ever come across. It is more than just a political/civics club, a leadership club, a volunteer club, or even a debate club; beyond all this, it is where you are motivated, challenged, and most importantly inspired. It is an opportunity for you to meet students across the nation that are passionate about the world around them and that want to make a genuine difference. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that shapes its students to become exemplary leaders, articulate speakers, and critical thinkers.
JSA has been an integral part of my high school experience, and I cannot imagine where I would be without it. It has changed me from an apathetic, shy freshman into someone who has the confidence to lead and the passion to give back. The impact it has had on me and thousands of other students across the nation will last a lifetime.
