Review for Grayson County College Foundation, Inc., Denison, TX, USA
As I am out and about in the Grayson County area, almost daily I encounter someone who has received a scholarship from the GCC Foundation. The life changing difference these scholarships make in lives inspire me not only to give but to ask others to do likewise. Deserving students, regardless of age, receive the help needed to achieve their dream! ShBraz
Review for Grayson County College Foundation, Inc., Denison, TX, USA
It is a pleasure to be part of the Grayson County College family as a member of the GC Foundation Board. My husband, Don, and I consider our contributions to GCC an investment in students as well as our community. We hear so many success stories of students who continue their educations at universities or go into vocations that enable them to be "producers" in our society.
Students of every age and ethnic group enjoy the enriching experiences GCC has to offer. My heart was touched at a recent graduation ceremony of vocational nursing students when I saw a lady who was obviously in her 50's or 60's among the graduates! The diversity assures a well rounded educational environment for everyone.
Staff members always enjoy an opportunity to lead a tour of the campus and explain many of the programs available. Why not stop by and get acquainted...it could be a life changing experience!
