I have been volunteering at AWLMC since 2010 and am proud to be associated with such a caring group of dedicated volunteers. I also adopted my cat from them, and she is the perfect cat for me. I am what's known as a "foster fail", because my Honey was my foster!

I've been a volunteer here since 2011, and am constantly impressed by the dedication of our volunteers. They go above and beyond in caring for each cat as an individual, learning each cat's personality and preferences, and helping them find their forever homes. Being involved with AWLMC is extremely rewarding for me personally, and is even more rewarding for the cats that come to us.

I've been volunteering at AWLMC for almost two years, starting after only one visit. I look forward to coming in and seeing the cats and the other volunteers. It's an excellent shelter, with good people and a comfortable environment for the cats. I love working with a no-kill shelter. Some cats stay longer than others, but they are loved and safe, and will be with us until they find their special person.
