Coming to Jewish Family Service as a volunteer more than 4 years ago, I discovered an organization dedicated to helping the most needy in our community. Within less than a year, I became a part-time member of the support staff and am still thrilled to be associated with this group of caring professionals. JFS touches the lives of thousands each year, from elderly shut-in's who receive monthly food deliveries to counseling clients to in-home care management to emergency financial assistance. And lots more. It has been an honor to be here, and do and give what I can.

As a volunteer, I delivered food to elderly clients for almost two years, building rapport and seeing first hand their appreciation. As an employee I saw clients helped who didn't have money to buy their children dinner.
