Review for Icing Smiles, Laurel, MD, USA
I have volunteered with Icing Smiles for 10 years. I cannot imagine a more rewarding experience. Any time you can make a child smile, it's huge, but giving a medically fragile child, or their sibling who sits on the sidelines supporting their brother or sister, a chance at a normal day of celebration is the best thing you can experience. The smiles and joy of the children and their families is beyond wonderful.
Review for Icing Smiles, Laurel, MD, USA
This Organization owns my heart. I have never encountered a better group of people doing remarkable work for critically ill children and their siblings. All the bakers and volunteers donate their time and the cakes to our children. It is amazing how something as seemingly simple as a cake can help these kids forget about all they are going through and have wonderful, sweet memories of their special day, and their special cake, designed especially for them. I've never felt so proud as to be so privileged to be part of such a worthy Organization and the best people in the world. Our founder has created more smiles and given happiness to so many people and for no other reason than to simply allow children the privilege of feeling like a regular kid. Thank you to Icing Smiles for some of the most wonderful memories I'll ever have. Our pay is better than any CEO; we get to give a child and their family some happiness and an Icing Smile.

I wouldn't change a thing..... I would change the fact that there is a need for us to exist, but we'll be here until all childhood illnesses are conquered.
