Review for Lets Be Ready, Longmont, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

When Garrett and John Reed approached me about having a larger role in the nonprofit that Nancy and I founded almost 20 years ago, we were excited at the prospect. The timing of their retirements and the aging out of Nancy and I were a happy coincidence. Nancy and I were in their position 20 years ago when we decided to retire and also make a difference with the rest of our lives. We hope this legacy lives on with them and within others as long as the families in Guatemala are in need and young teachers are willing to prepare them to do what their parents can’t do, prepare children for success in school. Their passion for the cause of supporting young women and men and Guatemala so they can use their talents to make a difference in their communities, is just we were looking for.

Together John and Garrett are clearly qualified for the role they’ve taken. Their experience and love for teaching, lifelong passion for travel, fluency in the Spanish language, and willingness to engage with people they have never met and do not share their background, virtually assures them of success. They see along with us the opportunity to seize the mantle of leadership, not only to maintain the investment that’s been made in Guatemala, but also to grow Let’s Be Ready in the future.

I have known Earl and Suzanne for over a decade and have visited the projects in Guatemala. They have sustained an expanded project through support with other nonprofits and donations from foundations and companies.

I have seen their gardens and talked with the people. They are doing great work and deserve your support Fred and Nancy

Let's be ready funds to grassroots programs in Guatemala headed by local women. These young Women Are Disrupting the Model of Preschool Education in Guatemala! I have visited them every year (except during covid) for the past 18 years.

The long-held belief that it takes decades to build classrooms and send teachers to provide early childhood development opportunities for the indigenous rural communities has been shattered. This year 53 young women in these communities have become the solution to this longstanding problem, shaking things up by opening “preschools” in their homes for over 600 children. For 2 hours a day kids ages four, five, and six are learning in small groups, using innovative activities. 95% are passing first grade and 80%staying through the 6th grade. Th

Review for Miracles In Action Inc, Naples, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have collaborated with this organization for over a decade.
The Director and I first met when I was helping her by making little movies, and it ended up that she helped me ever so much more to make our project successful. That collaboration resulted in ongoing support as well as helping us expand through a significant start up of a new aspect of our program, which was not without risk.
She is very thorough she doesn't go into agreements without a lot of thought and then does a lot of follow up to ensure that the investments are used well. She also manages the administrative costs of her own projects very well.
She is devoted to the children of Guatemala, well beyond just getting the projects completed. She even uses her "House of Miracles" home as a center for nonprofits to meet and even to stay overnight.

Review for World Link Partners Inc, Provo, UT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

WPL acted as our fiscal sponsor for several years allowing us to concentrate on delivering our services.
We eventually applied for our own non-profit designation. They helped us when we really needed it.

Review for Friends Of Constru Casa Usa, Crete, NE, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Constu Casa does what it says it is going to do and does it efficiently. The director is extremely committed to the cause of changing lives through improving housing for those in the most need.
I also appreciate that they cooperate with other non-profits like us to make sure that we cooperate to solve problems. It has resulted in both of our organizations being more effective.
