I became a mentor at the age of 16. I'm a adopted child since the age of 9 months old. I'm now 21, employed, in college Major : Criminal justice. BEYOND LIGHT, has been c me though it all. I was struggling as a teen, wanting to know my parents, getting high/etc. They provided therapy, worked c my soical worker and I went out of state to a program and from there it was college. It was all about the man. which I later learned, it was associated c my abandoment issues and co-dependency. THANKS. Upon my return from college, due to funding issues. BEYOND LIGHT was right there. I'm now a Mentor and still apart of the family. Ms.F always told me I be a good youth counselor and look at what my Major is.
