MiDogRescuer
Review for NBS Animal Rescue, Troy, MI, USA
I have been a board member, volunteer, foster, and adopter for NBS Animal Rescue. As a group, all members strive to make sure that a positive experience is created for everyone that we interact with. We are like a family, with our adopters, foster homes, and volunteers becoming an extension of that family. Our focus is saving dogs, but we are also enriching the lives of the people involved with them at the same time. Hence, the annual reunion picnic is always my favorite event of the year. Getting to spend time with our core volunteers, fosters, adoptive families, and the dogs we have saved over the years is so heartwarming. I don't think there is another group out there quite like NBS, and I am proud to be a part of it.
Review for FiftyTwo4Mom, Waterford, MI, USA
I have followed Brian's journeys for a few years now. What he does is amazing and a gift that not many can provide. He has literally travelled the country to act as a running guide for blind runners, giving them the opportunity to keep running, and to run competetively, even after losing their sight. Running is a passion for some people, and Brian's dedication helps keep the blind from losing something they could no longer do on their own.
