To whom it may concern,

I am happy to have the opportunity and priviledge to write this endorsement of the good work I have found being done by The Project on Government Oversight, Inc. While many seem to view such organizations as the work of ultra-liberals, this Goldwater Republican and former member of the Vermont Republican State Committee has found the work of this organization to be far more fairminded than that of any other such effort I have yet become aware of. The reports furnished to me have been far more carefully researched and written than some information requested and received from elected representatives in Washington on some issues. To me this speaks very highly of the work POGO is doing. I cannot urge you strongly enough to give every consideration possible to providing funding to The Project on Government Oversight, Inc. in the hope that they may continue to
be the excellent resource they have become when seeking information about various bills before Congress and projects that various government agencies are working on or seeking funding for. The work of The Project on Government Oversight, Inc. is more important to the American people in my view of things than even that of the Inspector General's Office.
