We were looking for a Jack Russell Terrier puppy, and visited many different rescue groups. Then we saw a picture and video of Laser from D&R Rescue on Petfinder. My family and I were very excited to go and meet him. We contacted Karen via email and by phone. She answered any questions we might have had. We went through the application process where she contacted our vet. We went to see Laser on a Sunday where she made a special trip just for us. We drove three hours to meet Laser, and as soon as we saw him we knew he was the dog for us. He was so happy to see us he came running and wagging his tail. The office was spotless, and you could see all of the animals there were well cared for. After Karen talked with us she gave us food, a leash, a collar, and some toys. She said he had a microchip and had been neutered. He is a very happy and healthy dog. He gets along great with our other dog Daisy. They are best buddies. We have kept in touch with Karen and sent her pictures of Laser.
