My wife and I had been looking to adopt a rescue dog for a few months. We searched online and came across a beautiful dachshund at D & R Rescue. They were fantastic to deal with. All of our questions and concerns about our potential new friend were answered before we made the 7 hour drive to meet her. Also, they had some questions for us, to make sure we would be able to provide a dog with a good home. This is what impressed me most. When we got there, we were given ample time to get to know our new buddy before we left with her. We also were given a lot of information on how to care for her, what brands of food and accessories are best, and very well kept medical records. We also left with food, treats, collar/leash, and more. A+ experience, would recommend highly to anyone. And we couldn't be happier with the new addition to our family.
