Our family has been blessed with a miniature poodle we call "Maggie." Maggie found us through Petfinder.com thanks to D & R Rescue.

Our experience with Karen at D & R was wonderful. We had never adopted through a rescue before, but Karen put our family at ease. We found her to be very patient, kind and helpful through the entire process.

Since we were coming from out of state, Karen was kind and offered to meet us on a Sunday morning. I don't know if Maggie knew she was coming home with us that day but she was excited to see us. Before we left, Karen made sure we understood the adoption process and provided us copies of Maggie's recent check-up. (All shots were up-to-date and she was microchipped.) Karen also provided us with a supply of Maggie's necessities including food, flea/heartworm meds, collar & leash, and even a little jacket and some toys,

Maggie's temperament has been exactly as Karen described. She is very well mannered and seems quite content in her new home.
