Review for Global Autism Project, Brooklyn, NY, USA
I volunteered with the Global Autism Project on the SkillCorps trip to Peru in February 2013! My experience was more than I could have ever imagined. The Global Autism Project does an amazing job building relationships with their international partners to set the foundation for effective SkillCorps trips. During our time in Peru, we worked closely with the staff and students at a small school in Lima and also provided workshops for parents and staff. It was an amazing opportunity to share information on autism and applied behavior analysis to a part of the world that such information is not commonly available. The staff and parents were very eager to learn and have questions answered! The Global Autism Project made this opportunity possible, and their work worldwide is truly remarkable.
