I connected with Havserve in February 2012 amd have been to Lebrun Village, Haiti in June 2012 and February 2013. Being able to personally meet and build relationships with the people that Haveserve serves is an incredible blessing; working with a philosophy of doing sustainable projects and helping peoples help themselves; and having a strong leader in Carline all contribute to an organization that is making a difference. While all of the many projects Havserve undertakes are meaningful, I have an affinity for their sponsor a teacher program, which I feel is a great way to positively impact the community. By sponsoring one teacher, he/she can spend time in the classroom and impact 30 students. Solutions to Haiti's problems are going to take a generation... the children need a quality education. Education is the key. I am truly blessed to have found Havserve.
