I adopted Trudy less than a year ago and it was the best decision ever. Karen from D&R was so thorough in making sure we were the right family. I can definitely appreciate that. I saw another puppy on Petfinder.com but she was already spoken for. Karen informed me she had a sister. She also let me know that she had suffered some abuse and wanted to make sure she responded well to people. Also she wanted to make sure she would be okay in a home with cats, due to the fact I have 2. I drove 2 1/2 hours to meet her and instantly fell in love. She has been the best additon to our family and is the sweetest puppy ever. Even now if I need her shot records or info on the HomeAgain microchip Karen always gets right back to me. So glad I choose to adopt through D&R Rescue.
