During an extended period of time Tanenbaum worked closely with the teachers, students, parents and school administrators to address religious diversity in the school community. By implementing components of the highly effective " Religions in My Neiborhood" curriculum we learned to turn statements into questions and to develop a culture of respect and appreciation for religious differences. The Tanenbaum staff who provided the workshops and numerous hours of conversation in support of the on-going work were exceptionally knowledgable and caring individuals. We would have welcomed many more hours of contact with them.
