I began searching for my first puppy this past summer and I couldn't have asked to adopt a puppy from a better place than D&R Rescue Inc. When I first started my search on Petfinder I was concerned I would end up with a puppy and have no guidance, this was not the case at all. Karen White went to great lengths to make sure that I was prepared to give my new puppy the proper care it needed. She went so far as to send me home with a bag of food, toys, heartworm medicine, and a free crate. She answered every question I had with such detail that I felt confident when I took my new puppy home. I keep in touch with her regularly and she is always willing to help me and answer any questions I may have. This organization not only found a great home for a puppy but gave me a best friend.
