Hello,My daughter adopted a puppy from D&R rescue as a present for me. D&R was very careful in the placement of this dog. They called me to make sure I was a suitable owner, looked at my vet records and have followed up several times. At first they weren't sure about us but after speaking with me and my daughter a couple of times they were OK about changing their minds. We have provided a very loving home for this puppy ( who is now one and a half years old) and I am very thankful that D&R was concerned about the dog and willing to take extra time to ensure that they were making a good placement.
