I can not say enough positive things about this organization. They saved our dog Charlie's life!
We adopted Charlie, a Japanese Chin in Novemeber thru D&R Rescue.
When he was found and taken to the D&R Rescue he was in really bad shape. Starved / under weight, flea infested, stained and seriously close to death. They took him in and with expert medical care, love and attention he survived. He was close to four pounds when they first got him. They nursed him up to 11 pounds when we adopted him and when Charlie saw our vet this weekend, he is a healthy 14 pounds!!
He is the sweetest, most gentle soul and I can't thank them enough for everything they did for him!
