Our 13 year old English American Cocker passed away in July and we were just devistated. We were considering another pure bread puppy but just were not able to find a breeder that we really liked that was within driving distance.

We went to Petfinder.com and searched for a spaniel mix and this is where we found "Betsy" who is now named Stella! We called Karen and spoke to her for a while about the puppies and then filled out an application.

Karen was very responsive and anwsered all of our questions. she met us in Indiana which was close to our daughters and we had the grandkids come with us to pick up Stella.

The entire experience was great. D&R Rescue is a responsible, caring organization and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a new family member!
