Review for Center For Great Apes, Wauchula, FL, USA
I've been following Center for Great Apes for years and have been privileged to visit several times. I knew it was good, but the first time I visited I was completely blown away by the excellence that CGA exemplifies. It is a world class sanctuary and in every area of operation it serves as an example for all others to follow. Patti, being the keen business woman that she is, has applied her expertise and love of these individuals to create the best quality of life possible for animals that can't be released into the wild. She has assembled a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Patti is always looking to the future, planning for what is to come and is always generous in helping however she can. She has a heart of gold and these lucky Chimps and Orangutans are the beneficiaries. I know every dollar I donate is being carefully spent which makes my heart full, knowing who I'm helping and that they are being so wonderfully cared for.
Review for The American Anti-Vivisection Society, Jenkintown, PA, USA
I love that AAVS has been a pioneer in cruelty free shopping and the Leaping Bunny program. They also have worked for decades to provide students for support and alternatives to vivisection in schools. Their publications are also excellent. Top notch group!
Review for The American Anti-Vivisection Society, Jenkintown, PA, USA
I love AAVS. They are taking on vivisection on so many levels and are very successful. From advocating for primates in labs to providing disection alternatives to students to being a leader on cruelty free living with the Leaping Bunny program, AAVS has it all. My contribution is well used by this group. And I really enjoy their magazine. Each issue takes one aspect of vivisection and explores it in depth. I keep them for reference. Keep up the great work, AAVS!
