Review for Hand in Hand Parenting, San Francisco, CA, USA
A day that passes without me using Hand in Hand as a resource, is typically not a very good day. As parenting challenges change from moment to moment, hand in hand is right there to solve every issue I come face to face with. With three children under the age of 4, those challenges are aplenty. But I've never felt more equipped then since I found hand in hand. Not only that, but their methods give me confidence that I will spare my children some of the cripples that I carry from my own upbringing.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the eyes and smiles of my beautiful children.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
have locations across the states and provide in home consultations and meetings.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Every time I think I'm dealing with an impossible issue, I look to their resources and find an article on exactly what I felt hopeless about.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
beyond friendly, loving to the point of motherly.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
give every child a fighting chance at a beautiful life that would reflect well into their adult years.... overall they would change the world. Can you imagine, emotionally healthy children that grow into adults, the things they can do??
Ways to make it better...
I think having a professional witness interactions between me and my children would offer a value that you couldn't put a price on. For being 3000 miles away from me, there is nothing that could have made my experiences more perfect.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
a world that shuns their ideas even though the research backs them up. Society at large is looking more for quick fixes, and ways to control their childrens behavior as opposed to raising them up to be emotionally healthy and connected.
