Review for JobTrain, Inc., Menlo Park, CA, USA
Adam Weiner is possibly the best teacher I've ever had and Jobtrain is an amazing program. I've never been a part of anything like Jobtrain and I am so grateful to have had such a unique experience. I've learned skills and tricks that no one except someone like Adam could teach. I'm sorry to see Mime's close b/c I wish more young people could have the amazing experience that I've had. I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my fellow students. Chef's motto of "anyone can cook" is completely true.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
do anything possible to keep Mime's open! And try to take Jobtrain into high schools, they need it badly!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Chef's advise and the fun of spending my days cooking amazing dishes for others!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
incredible. So diverse. I've learned so much from getting to know them.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
change so many more peoples lives!
Ways to make it better...
I could do it longer, sadly I have to leave for college.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
peoples opposition to it.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Jobtrain is just incredible. It is life changing and it really does work!
