Review for BOOK FAIRIES INC, Freeport, NY, USA
As an avid reader myself I can’t stress enough the importance of books. The Book Fairies gives children an opportunity at a very young age to read books that will enhance and develop an imagination, skill set and an appreciation for lifelong learning In all capacities. Executive director Eileen Minogue has done an outstanding job of making sure all children have this opportunity near and far
Review for BOOK FAIRIES INC, Freeport, NY, USA
I am fortunate enough to have had first hand experience to see how this wonderful organization operates. I am an avid reader and I know how important reading is to everyone...especially children. The ways that children interact with and use books contributes to academic success and overall development. Reading books can help children to excel in school and increase their curiosity in literacy. Book Fairies is changing children’s lives in an incredible way each and every day!
Review for Patient Airlift Services (PALS), Farmingdale, NY, USA
PALS is a wonderful organization that assist patients in getting to treatment facilities through volunteer pilots. I have had the opportunity to see first hand the amazing work they do. The pilots are exemplary and very giving of their time and resources and the staff who coordinate the flights are caring and gracious. This is exactly the type of organization that needs funding so those who can should donate their time or their money. It is professionally run by a highly qualified executive director and knowledgable and dedicated staff coordinators. I have volunteered on a number of occasions and found it to be a most rewarding experience and I would encourage others to get involved in this wonderful organization.
