Review for KINGS BAY YM-YWHA, Inc., Brooklyn, NY, USA
Kings Bay Y has a very warm, friendly environment. They are open to everyone - regardless of race, age, or gender. My family and friends have been members of the Y for many years and have only positive things to say about the organization. They have enjoyed the facilities of the Y, such as the pool and steam room, as well as numerous lectures and presentations that have been quite informative and, very importantly, free to the members. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They will smile at you even if you don't know them. There is always an activity available for you, whether you are a pre-schooler or a senior citizen. And from what I have noticed, the Y has been expanding its programs to include an even greater share of population.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
young and open-minded. I consider it important for an organization to be composed of predominantly younger people, with fresh ideas, new outlook of the world, more modern knowledge. The Y has improved dramatically with new younger staff members.
