Review for African Vision of Hope, Maryville, IL, USA
African Vision of Hope seeks to eradicate poverty at the source. With all sincerity and humility, they have sought to understand the deepest struggles and needs within the country of Zambia and to face them head on. A child is not just put in school, but they are given nutritious meals for hungry bellies and wandering minds. They are not just taught about math and sciences, but about sanitation and how to care for their bodies. A child is rescued from every impediment that stands in their way - abuse, neglect, hunger, sickness, and emotional duress.

A ministry that strives to serve with excellence. African Vision of Hope is always looking to partner with business men and women, ministry leaders, and volunteers to develop their strategy in reaching the most children in the most faithful and effective way. AVOH has big dreams for Zambia and is making them a reality!
Review for African Vision of Hope, Maryville, IL, USA
I have been sponsoring the same child for the past 8 years and have joined African Vision of Hope on a number of mission trips from 2006-2014. AVOH has been able to recognize the main sources of poverty in Zambia and faithfully create long lasting solutions for the people. It is an organization that truly empowers students and adults by giving them the resources to realize their potential. Countless lives have been changed through the power of education, safe housing, meals and more, made available through AVOH
Review for African Vision of Hope, Maryville, IL, USA
Words could not describe the impact African Vision of Hope has made on my life and the lives of countless others. AVOH is non-profit that is not so affiliated with the numbers or statistics of who they are helping but the actual individual: as a result, the transformation of the students has literally been taken from death to life. Just by being around the volunteers of AVOH, anyone could tell how passionate they are about the children and schools this organization exists to serve. One important aspect of this organization that many overlook is the person running it. I know the CEO of AVOH on a personal level and her heart could not be more pure. A genuine compassion she has for the people makes this non-profit soar above all others.

Review for African Vision of Hope, Maryville, IL, USA
I have been a part of African Vision of Hope since I can remember. From the time I was 11 years old I have made the trip to Zambia and the transformation and progress is unbelievable. Not only are these children healthier in appearance but smarter, happier, and each one having hope and a plan for their future to change the community around them for the better. AVOH doesn't look for the easiest people to serve or the closest, but the ones with the biggest needs. By going there or even just volunteering you can see everything is done for the children and their well being. It has continued to share faith for the present and hope for the future.
