Review for Pound Animal Welfare Society Of Montclair Inc., Montclair, NJ, USA
I have known the PAWS people in my community for many years. Their organization not only adopted out four of the most loving, grateful cats to our family, but the leaders and volunteers of this group have assisted me in countless ways. When I moved, they found and delivered carriers to my door; when I've needed information, they've returned calls and emails immediately, and when I asked for help getting animals placed, their diligence and dedication was unsurpassed. The work these people do for a variety of urban towns, where no-kill animal shelters are virtually no-more, is 24 hours a day/7 days a week. With funds cut in our densely populated area in New Jersey, the PAWS people activated to keep their vital work going with numerous, well- publicized fundraising events. PAWS works tirelessly to trap-neuter-return feral cats, help with getting animals to vet appointments, foster, adopt, and place very sick animals in safe sanctuaries around the east coast when nobody has room. They have shown so much gratitude when I give any kind of donation, large or small. PAWS' endorsement and affiliation by our local vet, is another reason I so proudly associate with this organization. It gives me great pleasure to write on behalf of this small organization that makes a gigantic impact on our community.
