Review for Make A Difference, Goa, , India
MADD is a great place to be, very organised and extremely clear in its motives and goals.It involves teaching english to underprivileged kids with a well prescribed syllabus aimed at fun n interactive learning for two hours a week. It aims at making these kids employable,self reliant and confident. The compulsory monthly meetings help the volunteers share their experiences, problems amd confusions and gives them an opportunity to learn from the varied experiences of others. This organisation aims at productive work with a student teacher ratio of one teacher per five kids making sure that the volunteers develop a good rapport with their set of kids and the kids get individual attention for better learning.
