I believe in miracles. I believe in MAD. A day with MADsters and kids is nothing short of life-changing. My Sunday started like any other. Lying in bed till the sun had stopped yawning.. Getting up and brushing my teeth till I had stopped yawning.. The hot, sunny afternoon hid the evening's miracles. I had a 'date' to keep with the kids. 'Rainbow Schools'. That was the name of the place that we went to. 50+ students and less than ten volunteers. This was going to be FUN! We had activities, games and a whole load of fun planned for the kids, but the one thing that I did not anticipate was the amazing energy levels of the kids. I had worked with a few other NGOs before, and none of them had had kids who were this active and awesome! The kids truly ranged from Violet to Red. Games and music were pushed into the background of our minds as the kids took over! Language was neither a barrier nor a glitch. All the conversations were from eye-to-eye and touch-to-touch. I could not but feel that a few hours here could revitalize my sordid days and breathe life into the dreary weeks. Suffice to say, I was mesmerized! The two hours that I spent as part of MAD this Sunday were the best two hours for me in the entire month. I hope I have the luck and the blessings to have many many more of these two hours. Life has truly taken a definite upward slope! Thank you MAD; For making me feel more alive!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The way MADsters go out of their way to ensure that the primary importance is the kids. The way MADsters behave as if life is indeed not a journey to the destination of death, but a lovely voyage through the seas and storms with other ships beside you!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Change the way kids across the country looked at the dark, evil world through lighter, better, happier eyes!
