Review for Center for Domestic Peace, San Rafael, CA, USA
15 years is a long time to be involved with such a great organization, that is how long I have been volunteering for MAWS, now Center for Domestic Peace. I came to MAWS 18 years ago as a victim of Domestic Violence, and though I never used shelter, the hotline and support groups at that time was my "light from the darkness". I am so thankful that I get to help women and children get into safe places, advocate to them and for them. be a voice that can help heal the soul. Thank you for such a amazing group of people, volunteers, that hopefully together we can end the violence....
