Im a MAD volunteer from Nagpur.First time i read about MAD was on my college notice board. They were here to tell us about the organisation. Being a regular class bunker and got nothing to do,i went off to the audi to attend the meeting. After hearing about it and there efforts of genuinely making a differnece i thought of becoming a part of the team too and became a regular volunteer.This way i utilised my time in doing something good instead of wasting it. The 1st day of teaching was overwhelming....i realised at tht moment seeing the kids that how lucky i am! The first day was an ice breaker session between the kids and us, the volunteers. Regular classes are conducted on weekends for kids of different grades. The experience is simply fun and exhausting. The entire MAD team is dedicated towards there work and me being a part of it feel the same sense of responsilbilty too. Its awesome to be looked upto and being followed by the kids. They expect so much from you and want to be like you. MAD has helped me realise what little more of my efforts to these kids can make a huge differnce in there lives and indirectly in the lives of many.
