Review for Helping Hearts Equine Rescue, Perrineville, NJ, USA
When reviewing this rescue for our organization to donate to - I was impressed with everything about it. Seems like people who are using their animal and internet skills to help these horses. The rescue founder has a tag line: Slaughter is NOT humane euthanasia. "The captive bolt is not a proper instrument for the slaughter of equids, these animals regain consciousness 30 seconds after being struck, they are fully aware they are being vivisected." -Dr. Lester Friedlander, DVM & former Chief USDA Inspector
