Review for Gist Cancer Research Fund, New City, NY, USA
This non-profit was begun by a courageous woman who when informed she had 6 months to live made the choice to work to fund awareness and research into her rare cancer. Thankfully, she has survived beyond her 6 months, but her life has become a mission to help others. She continues to work tirelessly to raise funds and has been joined by many to aid in their work.
