The Taylor Matthews Foundation is a grassroots organization that truly puts cutting-edge research first. The TMF team pours countless hours into finding the most promising studies and the most innovative physicians so that every dollar that comes through the organization goes directly to finding a cure for cancer. Volunteering for the Taylor Matthews Foundation has been a fun, uplifting, and positive experience and I love knowing that my time and effort is going to such a worthy cause.

Being a part of TMF as a volunteer has been an incredibly fulfilling and exciting experience. I’ve been working with the foundation for many years and it is deeply committed to supporting the most cutting-edge, high-quality research. TMF maintains the highest of standards in reviewing and selecting the research efforts it supports so that each dollar has the greatest possible impact. The foundation relies on a close-knit group of passionate volunteers who care deeply about the cause and are always looking for new, creative ways to engage the community. Excellent all around!

I have been volunteering with the Taylor Matthews Foundation since the beginning and it has been one of the most fulfilling experiences. The Foundation creates real, meaningful change by making targeted contributions to cutting-edge research and development programs, which the Foundation selects after thorough vetting and consultation with experts. Because the Foundation keeps staff and expenditures lean, every dollar really goes directly to the cause of beating childhood cancer. The Foundation fundraises through positive community-based events and campaigns that are designed to empower both those impacted by childhood cancer and the volunteers. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing organization.

I have volunteered for tay-bandz since its inception in 2003. I cant think of anything more gratifying than helping to save children's lives. tay-bandz is well run, well organized and only grants funds to critical research that can impact the lives of children with cancer TODAY!

I have volunteered for Tay- bandz for many years. This year donations and awareness have increased substantially due to the release of a new book, Paint Your Hair Blue, which tells a personal story of Taylor’s journey through cancer. It is a story of living, not dying, despite a cancer diagnosis.
A portion of the book proceeds will be donated to Tay- bandz. I am proud to be part of the endeavor which has increased the grants Tay bandz has funded

My sister founded Tay-Bandz with the vision that "someday, no child will ever have to face cancer." As the years have gone by, I've been filled with pride as my family, our friends, and compassionate volunteers have worked to come closer and closer to fulfilling her dream. At Tay-Bandz we believe that every penny should be spent on the most cutting-edge research and treatment so that we can promise our donors and supporters that their money goes further with us. We make careful, informed decisions and fund programs that deliver real results. Our track record speaks for itself - whether it be in our funding of precision medicine at Columbia Presbyterian or trials at the National Cancer Institute. I'm proud that we're a part of finding 21st century cures for pediatric cancer. We're also actively involved in advocating for children with pediatric cancer, bringing information and awareness to our country's lawmakers and demanding that childhood cancer be given its due. I believe in Tay-Bandz and its goals.

Kidz Curing Cancer (Tay-Bandz) is a nonprofit with heart and soul. The people that work on its behalf care deeply about the cause and about each other. They are committed to changing the way that funding for pediatric cancer works and they are committed to shedding light on just how deeply the cause of pediatric cancer is ignored. I had the pleasure of attending Childhood Cancer Action Days this past summer on behalf of the organization and got the opportunity to lobby legislators in D.C. Tay-Bandz facilitated the telling of our story and helped to give a voice to victims and survivors of childhood cancer. It was a truly moving, life-changing experience that would not have been possible if it hadn't been for this organization.

Tay-Bandz is a world-class non-profit. The volunteers and the executive board are infinitely professional and immensely dedicated to the cause. In volunteering for tay-bandz I found that, unlike other successful charities, this non-profit allowed me to really contribute as they avoid bureaucracy and politics. It is important for everyone to know that tay-bandz has one of the lowest overhead costs of any national charity, and every donation and volunteer hour has tangible results in the remarkable research lab. A wonderful experience overall.
