My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Make A Difference, Goa, , India
I am not a volunteer of MAD but a big admirer. To begin with the main reason why my attention was drawn by MAD was because of its objectives. If major part of India is illiterate its not because of financial crisis or social obligations but its because of lack of 'QUALITY" education being provided at grass root level. Also the sentence "India is a developing country" is thrown around quite frequently these days. But development would mean nothing if people din't use it to the fullest.Food, clothing and shelter aren't the basic needs anymore. Education has grabbed the top spot when it comes to basic needs. MAD has taken the initiative to make a change. It is amazing to see a group of people come together and work towards educating the needful. Its objective is simple and straight forward. Its network is huge and its members are fantastic. Doing the work MAD does isn't a great thing. But doing it absolutely for no rewards is a thing to be proud of. It deserves a better place in this society. All the members, volunteers, founders and anyone associated with this organisation should be proud of themselves and most importantly the people who receive knowledge from these people should be super proud of themselves.
