I love this organization. They are lean and serious, and you can see the effects of their work everywhere. I have sponsored a child for the past 9 years, and I have come to know her through the consistent letters and reports I receive. I donated to the "Raise the Roof" campaign and got to witness a new shelter home built in a very vulnerable border area in India. In short, what I find is that when I give, I see results, and I feel good about where my dollars are going. In addition, all the communications and posts from this organization are uplifting, hopeful, forward-oriented. It is clear that the survivors of trafficking and other violence are at the center of this organization's planning and programming, and they are respected and honored as partners, not objects of "charity." In short, this nonprofit has my highest rating and it is the one I give to over and over again.

When I am working for/with Made By Survivors, I feel it is the best time I spend on this earth--aside from raising my own daughter. The founders and staff are all completely committed, as Sarah says, they all go "all in," living their commitment to ending slavery. Working with survivors has been one of the greatest gifts of my life--I have learned so much about resilience, strength, and grace. I will fight the scourge of sex slavery and exploitation until my dying day, but it's so much better having such an amazing group of people to do it with, through an organization that is so very solid, ethical, and visionary.
