Review for Make A Difference, Goa, , India
Make a Difference brought a lot of light into the lives of many li'l kids and everyone knows that! But what most people don't know is that its made as much of a difference to the volunteers as it has to the kids! I'm for one sure that M.A.D has allowed me to become a better person- kinder, nicer, more social and determined to make the best of what I have...I owe M.A.D for a (better!) personality make-over and am sure its been that way for a lot of other volunteers...and for that reason alone, I see M.A.D not as another NGO; rather its a movement among the youth and a testament to their potential! :)

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
being able to successfully bridge gaps between the privileged and not so privileged children by allowing proper education to be a common source rather than a elite commodity
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
my interaction with the kids. It lights up my whole week to be able to see them and in knowing how much of a difference I'm making in their lives... helping someone reach their true potential is a heady, addictive feeling! :)
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
inspired, connected to each other, passionate about M.A.D beliefs, determined to give back to society and obviously excited to be a part of M.A.D and making a difference!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
cater to the needs of a greater amount of children. Money is mostly spent on the common syllabus that caters to the needs of such children. 10 million bucks would ensure this and also help us reach out to kids with special needs.
