I have been part of Make A Difference for over a year now. I signed up because I thought helping kids realize their dreams was a cause worth working for . When I was a kid , I was educated and taught to speak in english because I had a family who believed in me and sent me to school so that I could turn into a better person in life. What about the kids who dont have parents ? Dont they have the right to dream ? What we at MAD ( Make a Difference ) do is simple. We help them realise their dreams. We also teach them to dream big.! I spend twp hours a week going to SnehaBhavan , a home for kids.! I teach them how to communicate in English. We follow a standard syllabus that is provided by EEzVidya . The best part about being a volunteer is when you get to see results. Every time a kid tries to speak in English , the amount of joy and satisfaction that I get is un-measurable. ! These kids want to learn , a little push from behind and guidance in the right path will make them better people , men and women who will be able to survive in the competitive world...! After all , that is what education is all about. !
