My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Foundation for a Drug Free World, New York, NY, USA
I worked with the Elysian Charter School in Hoboken, NJ to get the Truth About Drugs incorporated into their health curriculum. The teacher told me that while watching the videos the kids were absolutely silent and attentive, which he says is exceptional for a group of 8th graders. He also said that the subsequent discussions were serious and focused, another rarity for kids that age. It is a pleasure to be involved in Foundation for a Drug Free World because the material really makes an impact.

I've got to work with others who feel as strongly as I do about making changes to the way that the general public views drugs. I've seen what "recreational" drug use can lead to and how it can ruin lives.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Awesome! And empowered.
