Review for Paws Animal Wildlife Sanctuary Inc, Waterloo, SC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I’ve worked as a volunteer with this Sanctuary for over ten years! I’ve never seen a non-profit accomplish so much with so few financial resources! At 78 years old, I can’t do what used to, either physically or financially, but I will always be a strong supporter and one of their biggest fans!

Review for Frog Song Farm Sanctuary Inc, Hodges, SC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Frog Song Farm Sanctuary rescues horses, donkeys, cows, llamas, chickens, geese, pigs and more, providing sanctuary for animals who may have been abused or received limited care in their former lives. At FSFS, they find a place to live out their lives in peace and comfort.

I’ve volunteered as a transporter with PAWS for many years. I have never seen a non- profit accomplish so much with so little, with so much compassion!
At 77, I can no longer do what I used to, but it is my privilege to still be able to help this outstanding organization.

The longer I observe the GREAT (yes, GREAT) things PAWS achieves, the more impressed I become. They do more with a dollar than anyone could dream possible. Their outcomes are often in the AMAZING category, though not every animal's story has a happy ending. I am proud to be able to sometimes serve by transporting an injured animal for PAWS, just wishing I had time to help even more.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

. . . make sure they had all the funding they need!

PAWS goal is always to rehabilitate wildlife and return them to the life they were made to live. They do it with love, care, compassion, and concern, all the while working to educate humans about how they can help reduce harm and improve the chances for rehabilitation. AND, they squeeze more good out of a penny than seems possible!

I've been aware of this organization through its Facebook page for several years. In the past year, I have become involved as a volunteer! I really can't say anything more than I've already said in my previous reviews, because I already gave them 5 stars. My evaluation of PAWS has not changed in the least since I began volunteering. I get a more up close view as a volunteer, and what I see up close is an organization that puts animals first and that squeezes more value from a penny than I thought possible. In addition, I see an organization that believes in education, and avails itself of EVERY opportunity to help the public learn what THEY can do to help wildlife. First class organization - IN EVERY ASPECT!

PAWS is a well run organization that gets the most out of every donated dollar. They provide top notch and wildlife-sensitive rehabilitation, always looking to do what's best for the animal in the long run. Sometimes that means euthnasia, but most often it means care given in such a way that the animal can return to the wild with a high probability of success.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

caring for wildlife in a way that facilitates their successful return to their wild life.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

provide them with more money and better facilties.
