Review for American Immigration Council, Washington, DC, USA
As an immigration attorney, I have relied for many years on the American Immigration Council's informative resources, including its policy briefs and updates, to talk about U.S. immigration laws and policies to a wide range of audiences, including graduate students, other immigration lawyers, and elected officials and their staff. In the interest of full disclosure, I previously served on the Council's board of trustees.
Review for American Immigration Council, Washington, DC, USA
As a former trustee of the Council from 2000-2006, I've seen it grow over the years to become one of the most respected policy think tanks on immigration, as well as a valuable resource for educators and litigators. The Council continues to contribute to the public debate on immigration through its research and policy advocacy.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
being able to talk knowledgeably about federal immigration policy in graduate school urban policy classes and wider audiences.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
focus more on a communications strategy, which the Council has begun to do.
