My Nonprofit Reviews

ArunS
Review for VIBHA Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, USA
I've had a great time volunteering for Vibha for nearly a decade. People are serious about the cause and give their 100% when they commit to a task. Our events have matured from being fledgling events into near professional events. On a different note, I am very excited about the direction in which Vibha's relationship with grassroots organizations is heading - ie moving from being just a funding agency into sort of a resource organization that brings out the strengths and rectifies the flaws in grassroots organizations in India. Pragati 2009 - the first annual conference of Vibha supported projects- is just the first step in this direction. I'm proud to be a volunteer of this wonderful organization.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my visits to projects in India and experiencing the impact first-hand. Vibha's involvement not only helps kids stay in school but also improves the grassroots organizations through recommendations and process changes suggested during monitoring visits.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
making an impact in the lives of underprivileged children in a fun filled and welcoming environment.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
fun, dedicated, and willing to sacrifice many nights to ensure that fundraisers are organized to our best ability.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
very easily scale up its outreach.
